เมื่อวันที่ 2 มิถุนายน 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย นายเวทิต โชควัฒนา รองประธานอาวุโส ส.อ.ท. และประธานสายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ ภก.เชิญพร เต็งอำนวย รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. นายปณิธาน ปวโรฬารวิทยา เลขาธิการ ส.อ.ท. นายกริช อึ้งวิฑูรสถิตย์ รองประธานสายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ และนายธนวัฒน์ จิตบรรเทิงพันธ์ กรรมการและผู้ช่วยเลขานุการสายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ ให้การต้อนรับนางวรพรรณี ดำรงมณี เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำสิงคโปร์ พร้อมด้วยนางสาวเพ็ญโสม เลิศสิทธิชัย รองอธิบดีกรมเอเชียตะวันออก และนางสาวจาริตรา เตชะสวัสดิ์ นักการทูตชำนาญการ (ที่ปรึกษา) กรมเอเชียตะวันออก กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ในโอกาสเข้าพบเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ทางเศรษฐกิจ การค้า การลงทุน และความร่วมมือระหว่างไทย–สิงคโปร์ ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท.
ในโอกาสดังกล่าว คณะผู้แทนทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับทิศทางเศรษฐกิจโลกและความท้าทายจากสถานการณ์ภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ที่ส่งผลต่อการค้า การลงทุน พลังงาน และห่วงโซ่อุปทานระหว่างประเทศ ตลอดจนแนวทางต่อยอดศักยภาพความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างไทยและสิงคโปร์ โดยเฉพาะการใช้ประโยชน์จากบทบาทของสิงคโปร์ในฐานะศูนย์กลางด้านการเงิน การค้า การลงทุน และโลจิสติกส์ของภูมิภาค เพื่อขยายโอกาสทางธุรกิจและเปิดตลาดใหม่ให้แก่ภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทย รวมถึงการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านนวัตกรรม การถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี และการแพทย์สมัยใหม่ระหว่างกัน
ทั้งนี้ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ สิงคโปร์ ได้แสดงความพร้อมในการสนับสนุนและอำนวยความสะดวกต่อกิจกรรมความร่วมมือระหว่าง ส.อ.ท. และภาคเอกชนของสิงคโปร์ในอนาคต รวมถึงกิจกรรมที่มุ่งส่งเสริมการขยายโอกาสทางการตลาดให้แก่สินค้าและบริการของไทย โดยเฉพาะในอุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ อาทิ กลุ่มอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับ เพื่อเพิ่มศักยภาพการแข่งขันและสร้างโอกาสทางธุรกิจในตลาดสิงคโปร์ต่อไป
On June 2, 2026, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), together with Mr. Wethit Chokwatana, Senior Vice President of FTI and Head of the ASEAN and Logistics Division Dr. Jirachai Tengamnuay, Vice President of FTI, Mr. Panithan Pawarolhanwit, Secretary-General of FTI, Mr. Krit Ongwitoonrat, Vice President of the ASEAN and Logistics Division, and Mr. Thanawat Jitbunthangpan, Committee Member and Assistant Secretary of the ASEAN and Logistics Division, welcomed Ms. Vorapanee Damrongsak, the Thai Ambassador to Singapore, along with Ms. Pensomsri Lertsitichai, Deputy Director-General of the Department of East Asia, and Ms. Jarittra Techasawasdi, Senior Diplomat (Advisor) of the Department of East Asia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of their visit to exchange views on economic, trade, investment, and cooperation between Thailand and Singapore at the Mongkhonsuthee Room, 8th Floor, FTI.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on the direction of the global economy and the challenges posed by geopolitical situations affecting trade, investment, energy, and international supply chains, as well as ways to enhance economic cooperation between Thailand and Singapore. Notably, the discussion focused on leveraging Singapore's role as a financial, trade, investment, and logistics hub of the region to expand business opportunities and open new markets for Thai industries, including promoting cooperation in innovation, technology transfer, and modern medicine.
In this regard, the Ambassador to Singapore expressed readiness to support and facilitate cooperation activities between FTI and the private sector of Singapore in the future, including initiatives aimed at promoting market opportunities for Thai goods and services, especially in the creative industries such as gemstones and jewelry, to enhance competitive capabilities and create business opportunities in the Singapore market.
