เมื่อวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2569 นายอิศเรศ รัตนดิลก ณ ภูเก็ต รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และนายทะเบียนและงานข้อร้องเรียนสมาชิก พร้อมด้วยนายธีระพล ติรวศิน รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. ดร.เนาวรัตน์ ทรงสวัสดิ์ชัย รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. นายสุพจน์ สุขพิศาล กรรมการบริหาร ส.อ.ท. ดร.อนุกูล แต้มประเสริฐ ประธานกลุ่มฯ การบินและอวกาศ และคณะผู้บริหารกลุ่มฯ ร่วมให้การต้อนรับนายตติย มีเมศกุล นายกสมาคมอุตสาหกรรมอากาศยานไทย พร้อมคณะฯ ณ ส.อ.ท.
การเข้าพบในครั้งนี้ สมาคมฯ ได้นำเสนออุตสาหกรรมการบินและอวกาศทั่วโลกถือเป็นโอกาสทางเศรษฐกิจครั้งใหญ่ที่มีมูลค่ารวมกว่า 1.5 ล้านล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ โดยมีการเติบโตพร้อมกันใน 6 สาขาหลัก ทั้งการผลิตเครื่องบินพาณิชย์ การผลิตอากาศยานเพื่อการป้องกันประเทศ บริการซ่อมบำรุง (MRO) โดรน (Drone & UAV) อากาศยานไฟฟ้า eVTOL และเศรษฐกิจอวกาศ (Space Economy)
อย่างไรก็ตาม ประเทศไทยกลับครองส่วนแบ่งในตลาดโลกนี้เพียงส่วนน้อย และยังไม่ได้เข้าไปแข่งขันในระดับที่มีนัยสำคัญ
เพื่อเป็นการส่งเสริมให้ไทยเป็นศูนย์กลาง จึงได้เสนอยุทธศาสตร์ส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมการบินและอวกาศของไทย ที่มุ่งเน้นการยกระดับศักยภาพผู้ประกอบการและการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานอย่างครบวงจร ด้วยการให้สิทธิประโยชน์และการผลักดันสู่ตลาดโลก การกำหนดสัดส่วนชิ้นส่วนในประเทศ (Local Content) ในงานจัดซื้อจัดจ้างภาครัฐ การสนับสนุนแหล่งเงินทุนด้วยสินเชื่อดอกเบี้ยต่ำ (Soft Loans) ตลอดจนการพัฒนาบุคลากรทักษะสูงเพื่อรองรับมาตรฐานสากล
ทั้งนี้ กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมการบินและอวกาศ ได้กล่าวถึงการขับเคลื่อนด้วยการมุ่งผลักดันให้อุตสาหกรรมการบินและอวกาศ ผ่าน Aerospace Valley ในการมุ่งเน้นการบูรณาการความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ เอกชน และภาคการศึกษา เพื่อส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจ นวัตกรรม และนำงานวิจัยมาประยุกต์ใช้จริง ผ่านการสร้างพื้นที่ทดลองนวัตกรรม (Sandbox) ครอบคลุมทั้งการบริการทางการบิน การผลิต การซ่อมบำรุง (MRO) เทคโนโลยีขั้นสูง (Deep Tech) รวมถึงเศรษฐกิจระดับความสูงต่ำ (Low Altitude Economy) เพื่อยกระดับพื้นที่สู่เขตเศรษฐกิจใหม่ เพิ่มมูลค่าอุตสาหกรรม และผลักดันศักยภาพของไทยให้ก้าวสู่มาตรฐานระดับโลก
ส.อ.ท. พร้อมผนึกกำลังร่วมกับกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมการบินและอวกาศ และสมาคมอุตสาหกรรมอากาศยานไทย ในการจัดทำข้อเสนอแนะ 3 ด้านหลัก ได้แก่
1) การบริการทางการบิน การผลิต และการซ่อมบำรุง (MRO)
2) อากาศยานไร้คนขับ (UAV) และ
3) ความมั่นคงปลอดภัยทางไซเบอร์ (Cybersecurity)
การร่วมมือครั้งนี้ มีเป้าหมายเพื่อรวบรวมข้อมูลศักยภาพการผลิต ห่วงโซ่อุปทาน ข้อจำกัดทางกฎหมายและมาตรฐาน ตลอดจนโอกาสทางการตลาด เพื่อใช้เป็นแนวทางในการขับเคลื่อนและผลักดันนโยบายส่งเสริมร่วมกับภาครัฐต่อไป
On July 24, 2026, Mr. Itsaree Rattanadilok na Phuket, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with the Registrar and Member Complaints Officer, Mr. Theerapol Thirawasin, Vice Chairman of the FTI, Dr. Nawarat Songsawaschai, Vice Chairman of the FTI, Mr. Supach Sukphisal, Executive Director of the FTI, and Dr. Anukool Taemprasert, Chairman of the Aerospace and Aviation Group, along with the management team of the group, welcomed Mr. Tattiya Memeasukul, President of the Thai Aerospace Industry Association and his team at FTI.
During this meeting, the association presented the global aviation and aerospace industry as a significant economic opportunity valued at over 1.5 trillion USD, experiencing growth across six main sectors: commercial aircraft manufacturing, defense aircraft production, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), drones (Drone & UAV), electric aircraft (eVTOL), and space economy.
However, Thailand holds only a small share of this global market and has yet to compete at a significant level.
To promote Thailand as a center for this industry, they proposed a strategy to enhance the Thai aviation and aerospace industry, focusing on elevating the capabilities of operators and developing comprehensive infrastructure. This includes providing benefits and pushing for entry into the global market, determining local content ratios in government procurement, supporting funding sources with soft loans, and developing a highly skilled workforce to meet international standards.
Furthermore, the Aerospace and Aviation Group emphasized driving the industry through Aerospace Valley, focusing on integrating cooperation between the government, private sector, and academia to promote the economy, innovation, and practical application of research by creating innovation sandbox areas covering aviation services, production, MRO, deep tech, and low altitude economy. This aims to elevate areas into new economic zones, increase industry value, and enhance Thailand's potential to meet global standards.
FTI is ready to collaborate with the Aerospace and Aviation Group and the Thai Aerospace Industry Association to produce recommendations in three main areas:
1) Aviation services, production, and maintenance (MRO)
2) Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV)
3) Cybersecurity
This collaboration aims to gather data on production potential, supply chains, legal and regulatory constraints, and market opportunities to serve as a guideline for driving and promoting policies in cooperation with the government moving forward.
