เมื่อวันที่ 15 ตุลาคม 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงอาหารกลางวันอย่างเป็นทางการ โดยมีนายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล นายกรัฐมนตรี เป็นเจ้าภาพเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่นายกี ปาร์เมอแล็ง ประธานาธิบดีแห่งสมาพันธรัฐสวิส และภริยา ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการระหว่างวันที่ 15–17 ตุลาคม 2569 พร้อมคณะนักธุรกิจสวิส ณ ตึกภักดีบดินทร์ ทำเนียบรัฐบาล
การเยือนครั้งนี้นับเป็นการเยือนประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการของประธานาธิบดีสวิตเซอร์แลนด์ครั้งแรกในรอบ 22 ปี นับตั้งแต่ปี 2547 อีกทั้งยังเป็นปีครบรอบ 95 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยและสวิตเซอร์แลนด์ ซึ่งนับเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสองประเทศ และส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้า และการลงทุน
การเดินทางเยือนประเทศไทยของประธานาธิบดีสวิสพร้อมคณะนักธุรกิจในครั้งนี้ ยังเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างภาคเอกชนของทั้งสองประเทศ และต่อยอดความร่วมมือด้านการค้า การลงทุน และการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรม โดย ส.อ.ท. มีบทบาทสำคัญในการเชื่อมโยงเครือข่ายธุรกิจระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยสร้างพันธมิตรทางธุรกิจ ขยายช่องทางการค้าและการลงทุน ตลอดจนเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันในตลาดโลก

On October 15, 2026, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairman of The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended an official luncheon hosted by Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister, in honor of Mr. Guy Parmelin, the President of the Swiss Confederation, and his wife, during their official visit to Thailand from October 15 to 17, 2026, along with a delegation of Swiss businessmen at the Phakdi Bodin Building, Government House.
This visit marks the first official visit to Thailand by the President of Switzerland in 22 years since 2004. Furthermore, it coincides with the 95th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Switzerland, representing a significant opportunity to strengthen the ties between the two countries and to promote cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, and investment.
The visit of the Swiss President along with the business delegation is also a crucial opportunity to reinforce the relationship between the private sectors of both countries and to expand cooperation in trade, investment, and industrial development.
