เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 26 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยรองประธาน ส.อ.ท. นายสุวัชร์ ศุภกาญจน์เดชากุล นายธีระพล ติรวศิน นายสมบูรณ์ พิทยรังสฤษฎ์ และ ดร.เนาวรัตน์ ทรงสวัสดิ์ชัย ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้บริหารจากบริษัท บางกอกอินดัสเทรียลแก๊ส จำกัด (BIG) นำโดยนายชาญศิลป์ ตรีนุชกร กรรมการบริษัท นางอรลา เจริญลาภ กรรมการผู้จัดการ และผู้บริหารบริษัทฯ เนื่องในโอกาสเข้าพบเพื่อแสดงความยินดีในการเข้ารับตำแหน่งประธาน ส.อ.ท. วาระปี 2569–2571 ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ส.อ.ท.
การหารือครั้งนี้ BIG ได้นำเสนอแนวทางการปรับบทบาทสู่การเป็นผู้ให้บริการด้าน “Climate Solutions” เพื่อสนับสนุนภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยในการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกและมุ่งสู่เป้าหมายการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero) ผ่านการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์คาร์บอนต่ำ (Low Carbon Products) เพื่อช่วยลดการปล่อยคาร์บอนใน Scope 3 รองรับมาตรการปรับราคาคาร์บอนก่อนข้ามพรมแดน (CBAM) ของสหภาพยุโรป พร้อมทั้งหารือแนวทางผลักดันเศรษฐกิจไฮโดรเจน (Hydrogen Economy) การพัฒนา Green Hydrogen และ Blue Hydrogen รวมถึงการผลักดันภาครัฐในการออกแผนพัฒนากำลังผลิตไฟฟ้าของประเทศ (PDP) ที่มีการส่งเสริมมาตรการภาษีคาร์บอน และสิทธิประโยชน์ด้านการลงทุน เพื่อเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่พลังงานสะอาดของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทย
นางพิมพ์ใจ เห็นว่า แนวทางดังกล่าวมีความสอดคล้องกับนโยบาย I5 ของ ส.อ.ท. ในส่วน I4: INDUSTRIAL INFRASTRUCTURE REFORM การปรับโครงสร้างพื้นฐานอุตสาหกรรมเพื่อการแข่งขัน โดยเฉพาะในเรื่องของพลังงานและการผลักดันแผน PDP รวมทั้ง I5: INCLUSIVE & SUSTAINABLE GROWTH ความยั่งยืนด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม สังคม และธรรมาภิบาล ด้วยการผลักดันการใช้พลังงานหมุนเวียน ซึ่ง ส.อ.ท. พร้อมสนับสนุนการดำเนินงาน เพื่อเสริมสร้างศักยภาพและขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของอุตสาหกรรมไทยอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Mrs. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairwoman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with FTI Vice Presidents Mr. Suwat Supakarndejakul, Mr. Teerapol Tiranawasin, Mr. Somboon Pityarangsrit, and Dr. Naowarat Songsawatchai, welcomed a delegation of executives from Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. (BIG), led by Mr. Chansilpin Treenuchakorn, Company Director, and Ms. Ornla Jaroenlap, Managing Director, on the occasion of congratulating her on assuming the position of FTI Chairwoman for the term 2026–2028 at the Mongkol Suthi meeting room of FTI.
During this discussion, BIG presented its approach to transitioning into a provider of “Climate Solutions” to support the Thai industrial sector in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and aiming for the target of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions (Net Zero). This includes developing low-carbon products to help reduce carbon emissions in Scope 3 in anticipation of the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), as well as discussing ways to promote the Hydrogen Economy, the development of Green Hydrogen and Blue Hydrogen, and advocating for the government to issue the country's Power Development Plan (PDP) that promotes carbon taxation measures and investment incentives to facilitate the transition to clean energy in the Thai industrial sector.
Mrs. Pimjai noted that this approach aligns with the FTI’s I5 policy regarding I4: INDUSTRIAL INFRASTRUCTURE REFORM, which focuses on reforming industrial infrastructure for competitiveness, particularly in energy matters and pushing the PDP plan, as well as I5: INCLUSIVE & SUSTAINABLE GROWTH, which emphasizes environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability through the promotion of renewable energy. The FTI is prepared to support initiatives that strengthen the capacity and competitiveness of the Thai industry sustainably going forward.
