“พิมพ์ใจ” นำทัพผู้บริหาร ส.อ.ท. วาระปี 2569-2571 ชูแผน 700 วัน ประกาศพลังขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมไทย“Pimjai” Leads the FTI Executive Team for the Term 2026-2028, Promoting the 700-Day Plan and Declaring Commitment to Drive the Thai Industry

On Monday, May 25, 2026, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) convened the 4th/2026 (2) board meeting, led by Mrs. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, FTI Chairperson, alongside Mr. Isera Ratnadhilok Na Phuket, FTI Registrar, Mrs. Ketsamanee Lertkitja, FTI Treasurer, and Mr. Panithan Pavarolarnvithya, FTI Secretary-General. They engaged with FTI board members from across the country to determine the direction of operations and drive the organization’s key strategies for the 2026–2028 term at Meeting Room 109, 1st Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

Key highlights of the event included the introduction of the heads of departments and deputy chairs for all 27 departments, reflecting the power of unity, readiness for collaborative integration, and the mobilization of Thai industrial leaders from all sectors to jointly drive the Thai economy and industry into a strong future under the vision “The New Chapter of Thai Industry: Empowering Growth with Innovation, Sustainability and Opportunity for All.”

Additionally, the event featured renowned national speakers who shared valuable knowledge, insights, and experiences in marketing and branding, which are critical for driving business and creating competitive advantages in the new economic era, led by
• Assistant Professor Dr. Ek Pattharathankul, Head of Marketing Department, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University and President of the Marketing Association of Thailand, a leading marketing scholar in the country, who lectured on “Seeing Clearly, Aiming Far: Capturing the Future Market,” conveying insights into modern marketing, understanding consumer behavior, and strategic planning for long-term competitive advantage.
• Mr. Donchai Bunyaratwetch, Brand Strategist & Brand Creator and Host of BRANDMAN, an expert in branding and the mind behind the success of various top brands in Thailand, who delivered a talk on “Brands with Heart Go Further,” reflecting the concept of building brands that connect with consumers through emotions, feelings, and brand values to foster loyalty and sustainability in the long run.

During this meeting, important agenda items beneficial to driving the industrial sector were presented, including:

1. Summary of the meeting with the Prime Minister on May 12, 2026, where the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) met with Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to present key approaches for urgently driving the economy and elevating the country’s competitive capabilities. The government responded positively to significant proposals from the industrial sector and will push for measures supporting Made in Thailand (MiT) products, assist SMEs in accessing funding, promote clean energy, develop infrastructure and logistics systems, and restore the “Gor.” mechanism for integrating cooperation between the public and private sectors in driving the Thai economy sustainably and concretely.

2. Summary of the joint discussion between the government and the private sector on May 15, 2026, where FTI advanced six key proposals to the government to drive the Thai economy and industry effectively, under the leadership of “Mrs. Pimjai Leeissaranukul,” FTI Chairperson. The government accepted many significant proposals such as reviving the “Gor.” mechanism to collaboratively develop Action Plans and dashboards to monitor results, promoting Thai products, enhancing Direct PPA for clean energy, and developing infrastructure linking the country to increase Thailand's competitive capabilities on the global stage, as well as uplifting the creative economy with AI, digital, and future industries to create a new sustainable growth engine for the country.

3. Summary of the Private Sector Joint Committee meeting (Gor.), which aims to revitalize the public-private partnership mechanism, addressing Thailand’s economic issues and driving “Zero Corruption,” as well as elevating the country to OECD standards. The private sector highlighted severe corruption issues impacting confidence and investment, while the government affirmed important proposals such as legal reforms, unlocking business obstacles, and resolving labor, energy, and logistics issues to enhance competitive capabilities and create sustainable economic growth in Thailand.

4. The meeting approved the appointment of “Dr. Orapin Sermprapasilpa” as the Chairperson of the Audit Committee of the FTI for the 2026–2028 term to ensure transparency, accountability, and elevating organizational governance standards in line with Good Corporate Governance principles, thereby instilling confidence among members, the government, and society.

5. The establishment of a policy monitoring task force and a complaint-investigation task force to enhance organizational management transparency, accountability, and improve the sustainable industrial drive in Thailand.
Reporting on labor issues relating to migrant workers, the government is urged to unlock urgent measures by resolving e-Work Permit system issues, reducing the steps and costs of labor registration, and accelerating the import of labor under MOU to support businesses, especially SMEs, while mitigating production impacts and maintaining the country's competitive capacity, alongside reaffirming the stance of supporting legal employment in tandem with national security.

6. The 700-Day Action Plan execution plan for the FTI is moving forward with the “Roadmap 700 Days” under the policy “The New Chapter of Thai Industry,” accelerating the Thai industry through the 5I strategy while enhancing the meeting format of the Gor. so that it is much more than just a meeting, but a space for creating knowledge, business opportunities, and cooperation connecting the public and private sectors to drive the Thai economy into a concrete future under the goal “Every Meeting Creates Value.”

7. Report on the operational progress of the task force taking over the duties of the FTI, systematically transferring new duties after establishing the task force, speeding up the review of structures, commitments, budgets, and continuous duties of all departments and institutions to enhance management efficiency and ensure continuity in driving the organization towards “The New Chapter of Thai Industry” securely.
