การหารือครั้งนี้ มุ่งเน้นการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้า การลงทุน และการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคตระหว่างไทยและจีน โดยเฉพาะการยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมสู่ดิจิทัล การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ เครื่องมือแพทย์ ผลิตภัณฑ์เสริมอาหาร สมุนไพร และดิจิทัล เพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทย พร้อมสนับสนุนการเชื่อมโยงความร่วมมือระหว่างพื้นที่ EEC ของไทยกับ Greater Bay Area (GBA) ของจีนให้เกิดผลอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
On May 13, 2026, Mr. Veerachai Munsinthorn, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and President of the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute, along with Ms. Ketsamanee Lertkijja, Chairperson of the Cosmetics Industry Group, Dr. Phak Nattapasut Patthirasinsiri, Chairperson of the Biotechnology Industry Group, Mr. Suthee Traivivathwong, Chairperson of the Medical Device Manufacturers Industry Group, Mr. Nakarn Thawichawat, Chairperson of the Dietary Supplement Industry Group, Dr. Sitthichaidaeng Prasert, Chairperson of the Herbal Industry Group, and Mr. Korn Thianukool, Vice Chairperson of the Digital Industry Group, along with representatives from the Biotechnology, Digital, and Pharmaceutical Industries, welcomed Mr. Kachathiti Wiwatthawanan, Consul General in Guangzhou, and the delegation from Guangdong Province at the KingBridge Hall, 4th Floor, KingBridge Tower.
This discussion focused on promoting economic, trade, investment, and future industry development cooperation between Thailand and China, particularly in elevating industries to digital standards, developing biotechnology, medical devices, dietary supplements, herbal products, and digital technologies to enhance the competitiveness of the Thai industrial sector. Furthermore, it aimed to support the concrete linkage of cooperation between Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and China's Greater Bay Area (GBA).
