เมื่อวันที่ 3 เมษายน 2569 นายอัครินทร์ วงศ์อภิรัตน์ กรรมการกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมโรงเลื่อยและโรงอบไม้ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เป็นผู้แทน ส.อ.ท. ภายใต้กรอบความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่าง 3 ประเทศ ได้แก่ อินโดนีเซีย มาเลเซีย และไทย (Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle: IMT-GT) เข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะทำงานขับเคลื่อนโครงการเมืองยางพาราและความร่วมมือด้านอุตสาหกรรมยาง แผนงาน IMT-GT ครั้งที่ 8 (The 8th Project Implementation Team (PIT) on Rubber Cities and Rubber Industry Cooperation: RCRIC) ผ่านระบบการประชุมทางไกลออนไลน์
การประชุมดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อรับทราบผลการดำเนินงานและความคืบหน้าของการประชุมที่เกี่ยวข้อง อาทิ การประชุมฯ ครั้งที่ 7 การทบทวนขอบเขตการดำเนินงาน (Terms of Reference: TOR) ของคณะทำงาน PIT RCRIC ตลอดจนการอัปเดตแผนปฏิบัติงานระยะปี 2569–2573 (Work Plan 2026–2030)
ทั้งนี้ โครงการที่ประเทศภาคีทั้ง 3 ประเทศเตรียมดำเนินการในช่วงปี 2569–2573 เพื่อขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือด้านอุตสาหกรรมยาง มีรายละเอียดสำคัญ ดังนี้
สำหรับประเทศอินโดนีเซีย อาทิ การจัดประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ (Workshop) ในหัวข้อ “การส่งเสริมการใช้ยางธรรมชาติผ่านการแปรรูปผลิตภัณฑ์ยางที่หลากหลาย” โดยมีกลุ่มเป้าหมาย ได้แก่ ผู้แทนจากภาครัฐ สมาคมยางพารา สภาอุตสาหกรรม หอการค้า นักลงทุน และนักวิจัยในกลุ่มประเทศ IMT-GT
ประเทศมาเลเซีย อาทิ โครงการศึกษาขอบเขต (Scoping Study) เกี่ยวกับเมืองยางพาราและความร่วมมือด้านอุตสาหกรรมยางในอนุภูมิภาค IMT-GT ซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนจากศูนย์ประสานงานความร่วมมืออนุภูมิภาค IMT-GT (CIMT) และหน่วยงาน Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA)
ประเทศไทย อาทิ โครงการพัฒนานักนวัตกรยางรุ่นใหม่ (The IMT-GT Smart Rubber Innovators Platform for Talent) และกิจกรรมจับคู่ธุรกิจ เพื่อขยายความร่วมมือให้ครอบคลุมตลอดห่วงโซ่อุตสาหกรรมยาง
การประชุมคณะทำงานฯ ดังกล่าว เป็นการประชุมภายใต้แผนงาน IMT-GT ที่จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อผลักดันการบูรณาการด้านอุตสาหกรรมยางของทั้ง 3 ประเทศภาคี (อินโดนีเซีย มาเลเซีย และไทย) ในอนุภูมิภาคให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน
On April 3, 2026, Mr. Akharin Wongapirat, committee member of the Sawmill and Wood Drying Industry Group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), represented the FTI within the framework of economic cooperation among three countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand (Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle: IMT-GT), to attend the 8th meeting of the task force driving the Rubber City project and cooperation in the rubber industry (The 8th Project Implementation Team (PIT) on Rubber Cities and Rubber Industry Cooperation: RCRIC) via an online meeting system.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the progress of operations and updates on related meetings, such as the 7th meeting, a review of the Terms of Reference (TOR) for the PIT RCRIC task force, as well as an update of the work plan for the period 2026–2030.
Furthermore, the projects that the three member countries are preparing to implement during 2026–2030 to enhance cooperation in the rubber industry include significant details as follows:
For Indonesia, this includes holding a workshop on “Promoting the Use of Natural Rubber through Diverse Rubber Product Processes,” targeting representatives from government sectors, rubber associations, industrial councils, chambers of commerce, investors, and researchers within the IMT-GT countries.
For Malaysia, this includes a scoping study on rubber cities and cooperation in the rubber industry in the IMT-GT subregion, supported by the IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation Coordination Center (CIMT) and the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA).
For Thailand, this includes the project for developing new rubber innovators (The IMT-GT Smart Rubber Innovators Platform for Talent) and business matchmaking activities to expand cooperation throughout the entire rubber industry supply chain.
This task force meeting is part of the IMT-GT work plan, which is held annually with the aim of promoting the integration of the rubber industry among the three member countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand) for sustainable growth in the subregion.
