เมื่อวันที่ 26 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นายนาคาญ์ ทวิชาวัฒน์ ประธานคลัสเตอร์สุขภาพและความงาม สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เป็นผู้แทนเข้าร่วมพิธีลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ร่วมกับสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจการพาณิชย์ และหน่วยงานพันธมิตร รวม 8 แห่ง เพื่อบูรณาการความร่วมมือในการพัฒนา “น้ำพุร้อนธรรมชาติไทย” ให้เป็นกลไกสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมเศรษฐกิจเชิงสุขภาพ (Wellness Economy) ณ ส.อ.ท.
หน่วยงานที่ร่วมลงนามประกอบด้วย กรมทรัพยากรน้ำบาดาล กรมสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพ กรมการแพทย์แผนไทยและการแพทย์ทางเลือก มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเพชรบุรี และสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย
ความร่วมมือดังกล่าว มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาการบริหารจัดการแหล่งน้ำพุร้อนอย่างเป็นระบบ ครอบคลุมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรม การยกระดับมาตรฐานการให้บริการ การพัฒนาบุคลากร ตลอดจนการต่อยอดเชิงพาณิชย์ เพื่อสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มทางเศรษฐกิจ และเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของผู้ประกอบการไทยอย่างยั่งยืน
การลงนาม MOU ในครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญของ ส.อ.ท. ในการเชื่อมโยงความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาควิชาการ และภาคเอกชน เพื่อผลักดัน “น้ำพุร้อนธรรมชาติไทย” ให้ก้าวสู่เวทีเศรษฐกิจสุขภาพระดับสากลอย่างมั่นคงและยั่งยืน
On February 26, 2026, Mr. Nakarn Twichawath, Chairman of the Health and Wellness Cluster of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), represented the organization in a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Economic and Commerce Development Research and eight partner agencies to integrate cooperation in the development of Thai natural hot springs as a key mechanism in driving the Wellness Economy at FTI.
The signing agencies include the Department of Groundwater Resources, the Department of Health Service Support, the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, Chiang Mai University, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, and the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
This collaboration focuses on systematically developing the management of hot spring resources, encompassing research and innovation, enhancing service standards, developing personnel, and commercializing opportunities to create added economic value and enhance the sustainable competitive capacity of Thai entrepreneurs.
This MOU signing marks another significant step for FTI in linking cooperation between the public sector, academia, and the private sector to promote Thai natural hot springs to confidently and sustainably enter the international healthcare economic arena.
