เมื่อวันที่ 23 กรกฎาคม 2569 นางสาวยุพิน บุญศิริจันทร์ กรรมการบริหารสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และกรรมการสายงานกิจการต่างประเทศ เข้าร่วมการประชุมเตรียมการสำหรับการประชุมหารือทางการเมือง (Political Consultation) ไทย–สเปน ครั้งที่ 8 ณ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ โดยมีนางสาวสมฤดี พู่พรเอนก รองอธิบดีกรมยุโรป เป็นประธานการประชุม เพื่อรับฟังข้อเสนอจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน สำหรับประกอบการหารือกับฝ่ายสเปน ซึ่งมีกำหนดจัดขึ้นในเดือนกันยายน 2569 ณ กรุงมาดริด ราชอาณาจักรสเปน
ในการประชุม ส.อ.ท. ได้นำเสนอข้อมูลการค้าระหว่างไทยและสเปน ซึ่งในปี 2568 มีมูลค่ารวม 1,924.55 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ โดยสินค้าส่งออกสำคัญของไทย ได้แก่ เครื่องปรับอากาศ ผลิตภัณฑ์ยาง และยานยนต์และชิ้นส่วน พร้อมเสนอ 4 ประเด็นความร่วมมือสำคัญ ดังนี้
1. สนับสนุนการเร่งรัดการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรี (FTA) ไทย–สหภาพยุโรป เพื่อเพิ่มโอกาสทางการค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างไทยกับสเปน
2. ส่งเสริมการลงทุนจากภาคธุรกิจสเปน โดยใช้จุดแข็งของไทยในฐานะฐานการผลิตอุตสาหกรรมสำคัญของอาเซียน พร้อมสนับสนุนการจัดกิจกรรมเชื่อมโยงเครือข่ายธุรกิจ และการจับคู่ทางการค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างสองประเทศ
3. ส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัย พัฒนา และถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี เพื่อยกระดับขีดความสามารถของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทย โดยเฉพาะในสาขาที่มีศักยภาพ อาทิ เทคโนโลยี HVAC สำหรับอุตสาหกรรมเครื่องปรับอากาศ การรีไซเคิลผลิตภัณฑ์ยาง และเทคโนโลยีการผลิตแบตเตอรี่สำหรับยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า
4. ส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและแนวปฏิบัติเกี่ยวกับมาตรฐานและกฎระเบียบของสหภาพยุโรปที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทย อาทิ EUDR, CBAM และ Euro 7 เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมและเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของผู้ประกอบการไทยในตลาดยุโรป
On July 23, 2026, Ms. Yupin Boonsirichan, Executive Board Member of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Committee Member of Foreign Affairs, attended the preparatory meeting for the 8th Political Consultation between Thailand and Spain at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Somrudee Phuphoranek, Deputy Director-General of the European Department, to gather proposals from both public and private sectors for discussions with the Spanish side, scheduled to take place in September 2026 in Madrid, Kingdom of Spain.
During the meeting, FTI presented trade data between Thailand and Spain, which amounted to a total value of USD 1,924.55 million in 2025. Major Thai exports included air conditioners, rubber products, and automotive parts. Moreover, four key cooperation points were proposed as follows:
1. Support accelerating negotiations on the Thailand-European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA) to enhance trade and investment opportunities between Thailand and Spain.
2. Promote investment from the Spanish business sector by leveraging Thailand's strengths as a key industrial production base in ASEAN, while supporting activities to connect business networks and facilitate trade and investment pairing between the two countries.
3. Promote cooperation in research, development, and technology transfer to elevate the capabilities of the Thai industrial sector, particularly in high-potentials areas such as HVAC technology for the air conditioning industry, rubber product recycling, and battery production technology for electric vehicles.
4. Promote the exchange of information and best practices regarding European Union standards and regulations affecting the Thai industrial sector, such as EUDR, CBAM, and Euro 7, to prepare and enhance the competitiveness of Thai operators in the European market.
