วันที่ 25 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) โดย FTI Academy จัดกิจกรรม FTI Skills Lab: Coaching & Focus Group ภายใต้หัวข้อ “การประเมินคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์กับ FTI-CCI” เพื่อเสริมสร้างศักยภาพผู้ประกอบการไทยในการบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจกอย่างเป็นระบบ สอดรับแนวทางการพัฒนาองค์กรสู่เป้าหมายการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero) ณ ส.อ.ท.
ภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจาก ดร. สนธยา กริชนวรักษ์ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (CCI) เป็นวิทยากรถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้เชิงลึก ครอบคลุมกระบวนการคำนวณและการประเมินคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ขององค์กร (Carbon Footprint for Organization: CFO) ตามมาตรฐานสากล พร้อมแนวทางปฏิบัติที่สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ได้จริง
ประเด็นสำคัญจากการสัมมนา ประกอบด้วย
การเจาะลึกการประเมินการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก 3 ขอบเขต (Scopes) ได้แก่ การปล่อยทางตรง (Scope 1) การปล่อยทางอ้อมจากการใช้พลังงาน (Scope 2) และการปล่อยทางอ้อมอื่น ๆ ตลอดห่วงโซ่คุณค่า 15 หมวดหมู่ (Scope 3)
แนวทางการประเมิน 6 ขั้นตอนอย่างเป็นระบบ ตั้งแต่การกำหนดขอบเขตองค์กร การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลทั้งปฐมภูมิและทุติยภูมิ การคำนวณด้วยค่า Emission Factor (EF) ไปจนถึงกระบวนการทวนสอบและการขึ้นทะเบียน
การอัปเดตมาตรฐานใหม่ประจำปี 2569 โดยเน้นการใช้ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์การปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก (Emission Factor) ชุดใหม่ ซึ่งมีผลบังคับใช้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม 2569 เป็นต้นไป
การยกระดับคุณภาพข้อมูลให้มีความถูกต้อง โปร่งใส และสามารถตรวจสอบได้ เพื่อเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยในตลาดโลก
การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งกลไกสำคัญในการสนับสนุนภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้สามารถปรับตัวสู่เศรษฐกิจคาร์บอนต่ำ (Low-Carbon Economy) ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ควบคู่กับการสร้างความเชื่อมั่นให้แก่คู่ค้าและนักลงทุนทั้งในและต่างประเทศอย่างยั่งยืน

On February 25, 2026, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), through FTI Academy, organized the FTI Skills Lab: Coaching & Focus Group event under the theme "Carbon Footprint Assessment with FTI-CCI" to empower Thai entrepreneurs in systematically managing greenhouse gas emissions, aligning with the organizational development pathway towards achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions.
The event featured Dr. Sonthaya Kritchnavararak, Director of the Climate Change Institute (CCI), as the keynote speaker, sharing in-depth knowledge encompassing the process of calculating and assessing the carbon footprint of organizations (Carbon Footprint for Organization: CFO) according to international standards, along with practical guidelines that can be effectively applied.
Key topics from the seminar included
detailed aspects of greenhouse gas emissions assessment covering the three scopes: direct emissions (Scope 1), indirect emissions from energy use (Scope 2), and other indirect emissions throughout the value chain across 15 categories (Scope 3).
A systematic six-step assessment approach was discussed, starting from defining the organizational boundaries, collecting both primary and secondary data, calculating using the Emission Factor (EF), and moving through the verification and registration process.
The update on the new standards for the year 2026 emphasized the use of a new set of greenhouse gas emission factors, effective from January 1, 2026, onwards.
Efforts were made to elevate the quality of data to ensure accuracy, transparency, and verifiability, so as to enhance the competitiveness of the Thai industrial sector in the global market.
This event serves as another key mechanism to support the Thai industrial sector in effectively adapting to a low-carbon economy while building confidence among partners and investors both domestically and internationally in a sustainable manner.
