เมื่อวันพุธที่ 25 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ให้เกียรติร่วมกล่าวเปิดงาน AUTOMATION EXPO 2026 งานแสดงเทคโนโลยีและโซลูชันระบบอัตโนมัติสำหรับภาคการผลิตที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในพื้นที่เขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (EEC) ภายใต้แนวคิด “Smart Solutions, Limitless Innovation Powered by AUTOMATION EXPO” ณ ศูนย์ประชุมและแสดงสินค้านานาชาตินงนุชพัทยา (NICE) จังหวัดชลบุรี
การจัดงานครั้งนี้ จัดโดยบริษัท จีเอ็มทีเอ็กซ์ จำกัด ร่วมกับบริษัท เมสเซ่ แฟรงค์เฟิร์ต (ฮ่องกง) จำกัด ภายใต้การสนับสนุนจากสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) และ ส.อ.ท. เพื่อผลักดันการยกระดับภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยสู่การแข่งขันในระดับสากล ผ่านการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีระบบอัตโนมัติ และการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพบุคลากรภาคการผลิต
นางสาวเพชรรัตน์ กล่าวในพิธีเปิดว่า ภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยกำลังเผชิญความท้าทายรอบด้าน ทั้งการเข้าสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุ การขาดแคลนแรงงาน และความผันผวนของเศรษฐกิจโลก การนำระบบอัตโนมัติ เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล และปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) มาประยุกต์ใช้ จึงเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพ ลดต้นทุน และยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศ
พร้อมกันนี้ ยังได้กล่าวถึงแนวนโยบายสำคัญของ ส.อ.ท. ภายใต้กรอบ “4GO” เพื่อขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมไทยสู่ความยั่งยืน ได้แก่ GO Digital & AI, GO Innovation, GO Global และ GO Green
การจัดงาน AUTOMATION EXPO 2026 สอดคล้องกับนโยบาย 4GO ของ ส.อ.ท. โดยเฉพาะมิติ GO Digital & AI และ GO Innovation ที่มุ่งยกระดับ “Factory Ecosystem” อย่างครบวงจร ตั้งแต่โครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านข้อมูล เทคโนโลยีระบบอัตโนมัติ ไปจนถึงการพัฒนาทักษะแรงงาน (Upskill/Reskill) เพื่อรองรับอุตสาหกรรม 4.0 และ 5.0
ภายในงานมีผู้ให้บริการเทคโนโลยีกว่า 130 ราย พร้อมเวทีสัมมนามากกว่า 70 หัวข้อ ครอบคลุมระบบอัตโนมัติ หุ่นยนต์อุตสาหกรรม IIoT แพลตฟอร์มดิจิทัล และแนวโน้มอุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต รวมถึงกิจกรรม Creative Factory Space และเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ
การเข้าร่วมกล่าวเปิดงานในครั้งนี้ สะท้อนบทบาทของ ส.อ.ท. ในการเป็นศูนย์กลางเชื่อมโยงความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และเครือข่ายระดับนานาชาติ เพื่อขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมไทยสู่การผลิตสมัยใหม่ และเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันอย่างมั่นคงและยั่งยืนในเวทีโลก
ทั้งนี้ งาน AUTOMATION EXPO 2026 จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 25–27 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 ณ ศูนย์ประชุมและแสดงสินค้านานาชาตินงนุชพัทยา (NICE) จังหวัดชลบุรี โดยเปิดให้ผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมชมงานและสัมมนาโดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย
On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, Ms. Petcharat Aeksangkul, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), honored the occasion with her opening remarks at AUTOMATION EXPO 2026, the largest exhibition of automation technology and solutions for the manufacturing sector in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The event was held under the theme “Smart Solutions, Limitless Innovation Powered by AUTOMATION EXPO” at the Nong Nooch International Convention and Exhibition Center (NICE), Chonburi Province.
This event was organized by GMTEX Co., Ltd. in collaboration with Messe Frankfurt (Hong Kong) Ltd., with support from the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) and FTI, to push forward the enhancement of the Thai industrial sector for global competitiveness through the development of automation technology and strengthening the capabilities of the manufacturing workforce.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Petcharat emphasized that the Thai industrial sector is facing multifaceted challenges, including the transition to an aging society, labor shortages, and fluctuations in the global economy. The application of automation systems, digital technology, and artificial intelligence (AI) is therefore a key mechanism for enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and elevating the country's competitive capabilities.
She also highlighted the key policies of FTI under the framework “4GO” aimed at driving the Thai industry towards sustainability, which includes GO Digital & AI, GO Innovation, GO Global, and GO Green.
The AUTOMATION EXPO 2026 aligns with FTI's 4GO policies, particularly the GO Digital & AI and GO Innovation dimensions, which aim to comprehensively elevate the “Factory Ecosystem” from data infrastructure and automation technology to workforce skill development (Upskill/Reskill) to accommodate industry 4.0 and 5.0.
Within the event, over 130 technology service providers showcased their offerings, along with more than 70 seminar topics covering automation systems, industrial robotics, IIoT, digital platforms, and future industry trends, including the Creative Factory Space and knowledge exchange platforms from both domestic and international experts.
The participation in opening this event reflects FTI's role as a central hub connecting cooperation between the public sector, private sector, and international networks to drive Thai industry towards modern manufacturing and strengthen competitive capabilities sustainably on the global stage.
AUTOMATION EXPO 2026 is scheduled to take place from February 25 to 27, 2026, at the Nong Nooch International Convention and Exhibition Center (NICE) in Chonburi Province, and is open for interested participants to attend the exhibition and seminars free of charge.
