เมื่อวันที่ 26 มกราคม 2569 นายอรุณ เอี่ยมสุรีย์ ประธานสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายในการเสวนาหัวข้อ “Corridors, Capital, and Technology: China–ASEAN Relations in a New Shared Understanding” ภายในงาน Asia Forward ครั้งที่ 6 จัดโดยสถาบันเอเชียศึกษา ณ หอแสดงดนตรี อาคารศิลปวัฒนธรรม จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย
การเสวนาดังกล่าวมุ่งแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับทิศทางความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างจีนและอาเซียน ภายใต้บริบทเศรษฐกิจโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว โดยนายอรุณ ได้กล่าวถึงบทบาทที่เพิ่มขึ้นของจีนในด้านเศรษฐกิจ การลงทุน เงินทุน และเทคโนโลยีในภูมิภาคอาเซียน รวมถึงประเทศไทย ซึ่งส่งผลต่อโครงสร้างอุตสาหกรรมและห่วงโซ่อุปทาน
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการวิเคราะห์แนวโน้มและการคาดการณ์สถานการณ์เศรษฐกิจของประเทศไทยในอนาคต ตลอดจนแนวทางการปรับตัวของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทย เพื่อรองรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านเทคโนโลยีและการลงทุนจากต่างประเทศ พร้อมเน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยและจีน เพื่อให้เกิดประโยชน์ทางเศรษฐกิจร่วมกัน
On January 26, 2026, Mr. Arun Eamsuree, Chairman of the Thai-China Economic and Investment Institute of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated as a speaker in the discussion titled “Corridors, Capital, and Technology: China–ASEAN Relations in a New Shared Understanding” at the Asia Forward Forum 6 organized by the Asia Research Institute at the Music Hall, Chulalongkorn University.
The discussion aimed to exchange views on the direction of relations between China and ASEAN in the context of the rapidly changing global economy. Mr. Arun highlighted China’s increasing role in terms of economy, investment, capital, and technology in the ASEAN region, including Thailand, which impacts the manufacturing structure and supply chains.
Additionally, there was an analysis of trends and forecasts for Thailand's economic situation in the future, as well as guidelines for the Thai industrial sector to adapt to the changes in technology and foreign investment, while emphasizing the importance of cooperation between Thailand and China to yield mutual economic benefits.
