เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 13 มกราคม 2569 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้รับเชิญร่วมเป็นแขกรับเชิญพิเศษในการตั้งคำถามและตรวจการบ้านนโยบายเศรษฐกิจในรายการ Special Live : POLICY BATTLE | ศึกดวลนโยบาย ในหัวข้อ ECONOMIC BATTLE จัดโดยสำนักข่าว THE STANDARD เพื่อเปิดพื้นที่ให้นักการเมืองแลกเปลี่ยนแนวคิดทางออกเศรษฐกิจไทยอย่างเข้มข้นและสร้างสรรค์ เพื่อประโยชน์สูงสุดต่อสาธารณชนก่อนการเลือกตั้ง ณ สตูดิโอ สำนักข่าว THE STANDARD (RCA)
การเข้าร่วมครั้งนี้ นายเกรียงไกร ทำหน้าที่เป็นหนึ่งในตัวแทนภาคเอกชน ร่วมตั้งคำถามปลายเปิดและตรวจการบ้านนโยบายในช่วง POLICY BATTLE : ECONOMIC BATTLE ซึ่งมุ่งเน้นการหาทางออกให้กับเศรษฐกิจไทยที่กำลังเผชิญกับความท้าทายสำคัญ ทั้งการเติบโตต่ำ ความสามารถในการแข่งขันที่ลดลง และแรงกดดันจากเศรษฐกิจโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว
นายเกรียงไกร กล่าวว่า เวทีนี้ถือเป็นโอกาสสำคัญที่ภาคเอกชนและภาคอุตสาหกรรมจะได้สะท้อนโจทย์เชิงโครงสร้างของประเทศไปยังผู้กำหนดนโยบายโดยตรง พร้อมชวนให้พรรคการเมืองแสดงจุดยืน แนวคิด และมาตรการทางเศรษฐกิจที่ชัดเจน สามารถชั่งน้ำหนัก เปรียบเทียบ และนำไปสู่การปฏิบัติได้จริง ไม่ใช่เพียงนโยบายเชิงแนวคิด
ทั้งนี้ รูปแบบรายการถูกออกแบบให้แขกรับเชิญมีบทบาทในการโยนโจทย์ ตั้งคำถาม และร่วมประเมินนโยบายในหลายรอบ ทั้งการนำเสนอนโยบาย (Pitching) การดีเบตเชิงลึก (Battle) และการประกาศคำมั่นสัญญา (The Promise) เพื่อให้ประชาชนเห็นภาพทางเลือกของประเทศอย่างรอบด้านและชัดเจนยิ่งขึ้น
On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), was invited to be a special guest in posing questions and reviewing economic policies at the Special Live: POLICY BATTLE | Policy Duel program on the topic of ECONOMIC BATTLE, organized by THE STANDARD news agency to provide a platform for politicians to exchange ideas on solutions for Thailand's economy in a focused and creative manner, for the maximum benefit of the public before the elections, held at THE STANDARD news agency studio (RCA).
In this participation, Mr. Kriangkrai acted as a representative of the private sector, posing open-ended questions and reviewing economic policies during the POLICY BATTLE: ECONOMIC BATTLE, which focused on finding solutions for Thailand's economy that is facing significant challenges, including low growth, declining competitiveness, and pressure from rapidly changing global economic conditions.
Mr. Kriangkrai stated that this platform represents an important opportunity for the private sector and industry to reflect the structural challenges of the country directly to policymakers, and he urged political parties to present clear economic positions, ideas, and measures that can be evaluated, compared, and effectively implemented, rather than merely theoretical policies.
The format of the program was designed for guests to play a role in throwing challenges, posing questions, and evaluating policies in multiple rounds, including policy pitching, in-depth debates, and The Promise declaration, to provide the public with a clearer and more comprehensive view of the country's options.
