On Friday, December 19, 2025, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) organized the 11th Meeting of the Federation of Thai Industries Board (2025), chaired by Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, FTI Chairman, along with Mr. Thawee Piayaphat, Senior Vice Chairman of FTI, Mr. Sompong Nakhonsri, Senior Vice Chairman of FTI, Dr. Piyanuch Malakul na Ayudhya, Vice Chairman and Treasurer of FTI, Mr. Iseret Rattanadilok na Phuket, Vice Chairman and Registrar of FTI, and Mr. Krit Inthasang, Secretary-General of FTI, as well as FTI board members, attending the meeting at Room 109, 1st Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

Prior to the commencement of the meeting, the FTI Chairman, along with the board members, expressed their heartfelt condolences on the passing of Mr. Surachai Sothiwarakoon, an FTI board member, by standing in silent tribute for one minute before proceeding to the agenda.

This meeting presented important agendas beneficial for the advancement of the industrial sector, including:
1. Annual General Meeting of the FTI 2026 and the election of the Federation of Thai Industries Board
• Approval to establish the elected and appointed members of the FTI board
2. Approval to waive initial registration fees and membership dues for December 2025
3. Approval of the income-expenditure budget and fixed assets for 2026
4. Approval to amend the FTI regulations (No. 34) regarding the Made in Thailand (MiT) criteria and the establishment of additional service fees for “special” cases and the issuance of English MiT certificates
5. Approval to extend the FTI Membership Credit program by 30% for 2026
6. Notification of membership dues payment for 2026 and confirmation or changes of users' rights
7. Appointment of a sub-committee for nominations
8. Summary of discussions with political parties meeting FTI executives from three parties: the Democrat Party, the Thai Sang Thai Party, and the Thai Khao Kham Party
9. Summary of the organization of the Foreign Industrial Club (FIC) Gala Dinner 2025
10. Uniting ONE FTI to assist members affected by floods in the south and measures to assist and rehabilitate flood-hit entrepreneurs in the south
11. Progress on resolving issues for industrial groups and provincial industry councils
12. Progress on organizing the 2025 Red Cross Fair from December 11 to 21, 2025, at Lumphini Park, Bangkok
13. Organization of the New Year gathering for FTI board members in 2026 on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 17:00 to 22:00 (after the conclusion of the GSC meeting) at Rooms 110-111, 1st Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

The meeting congratulated FTI executives who received awards, including:
1. Mr. Sompong Nakhonsri, Senior Vice Chairman of FTI, received the ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award
2. Mr. Thawee Piayaphat, Senior Vice Chairman of FTI, received an honorary Doctorate degree in Food Technology from Suranaree University of Technology for the academic year 2024
3. Mr. Thaworn Chalanthian, Vice Chairman of FTI, received an honorary Doctorate degree in Cooperative Education from Suranaree University of Technology for the academic year 2024
4. Mr. Chuwit Jeungthanasomboon, FTI Executive Board Member, received the SET Awards 2025 in the Sustainability Excellence category for Commended Sustainability Awards and Business Excellence for Best Investor Relations Awards
5. Mr. Chalerm Koganuthaporn, Secretary-General of the Eastern Region and FTI Board Member, received the SET Awards 2025 for Best Supply Chain Management Awards in the Sustainability Excellence category.

New executives and staff at FTI were introduced, including Dr. Thanyalak Thanapak, Director of the International Affairs Division, in charge of ASEAN and Logistics.

Additionally, before the meeting commenced, a ceremony was held to present financial support for the Red Cross fundraising lottery organized by the Federation of Thai Industries for the year 2025 as follows:
