เมื่อวันที่ 12 ธันวาคม 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้ปาฐกถาพิเศษในหัวข้อ “Go Digital & AI for Thai Industries” ในงาน AI Innovation Summit 2025 เพื่อนำเสนอวิสัยทัศน์การนำ AI มาประยุกต์ใช้เพื่อยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทย ณ Club Siam Glowfish, Siam Patumwan House
ภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจาก ศ. ดร. ศุภชัย พุทธินันทกุล ปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.) กล่าวต้อนรับและเปิดงาน พร้อมด้วยนายพณชิต กิตติปัญญางาม ที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง กล่าวถึงบทบาทสำคัญของ AI ต่อการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจไทยและการก้าวสู่อุตสาหกรรมอนาคต
AI Innovation Summit 2025 จัดขึ้นโดยความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันวิศวกรรมปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AIEI) และมหาวิทยาลัยซีเอ็มเคแอล (CMKL University) ภายใต้ธีม “Enabling Endless Possibilities with AI” มุ่งเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และกำหนดทิศทางการพัฒนา AI ของประเทศ โดยผสานความร่วมมือจากภาครัฐ ภาคอุตสาหกรรม และสถาบันการศึกษา ครอบคลุมด้านการผลิต การแพทย์ ความมั่นคงทางไซเบอร์ และการพัฒนาทักษะแรงงาน
นายเกรียงไกร ได้นำเสนอภาพรวมเศรษฐกิจโลกปี 2568 ที่กองทุนการเงินระหว่างประเทศ (IMF) คาดว่าจะเติบโต 3.2% และชะลอลงเหลือ 3.1% ในปี 2569 ต่ำกว่าค่าเฉลี่ยระยะยาว ขณะเดียวกันเศรษฐกิจไทยยังเผชิญความท้าทายจากการขยายตัวของ GDP ไตรมาส 3/2568 ที่เติบโตเพียง 1.2% รวมถึงผลกระทบจากวิกฤตน้ำท่วมในภาคใต้และสถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย–กัมพูชา
ภายใต้บริบทดังกล่าว ส.อ.ท. จึงขับเคลื่อนยุทธศาสตร์อุตสาหกรรมเดิม (FIRST INDUSTRIES) เพื่อเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขัน และพัฒนาไปสู่อุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต (NEXT-GEN INDUSTRIES) ผ่านการใช้นวัตกรรมและการยกระดับจาก OEM สู่ ODM/OBM โดยมีการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่ดิจิทัลและ AI เป็นหัวใจสำคัญ สะท้อนจากการส่งเสริมการลงทุนด้านอุตสาหกรรมดิจิทัลที่เพิ่มขึ้นถึง 551% YoY ซึ่งเป็นสัญญาณเชิงบวกต่อการยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมไทย ลดต้นทุน เพิ่มผลิตภาพ และสร้างอุตสาหกรรมใหม่ในอนาคต
On December 12, 2025, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), delivered a keynote speech on the topic “Go Digital & AI for Thai Industries” at the AI Innovation Summit 2025 to present a vision for the application of AI to enhance the competitive capabilities of the Thai industrial sector at Club Siam Glowfish, Siam Patumwan House.
The event was graced by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supachai Puthinunthakull, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), who welcomed and opened the event, along with Mr. Phonchit Kittipanangam, Advisor to the Minister of Finance, who discussed the crucial role of AI in the development of Thailand's economy and its advancement towards future industries.
The AI Innovation Summit 2025 was organized in collaboration with the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Institute (AIEI) and CMKL University under the theme “Enabling Endless Possibilities with AI,” aimed at providing a platform for knowledge exchange and defining the direction for national AI development, incorporating cooperation from the government, industry, and educational institutions across fields such as manufacturing, healthcare, cybersecurity, and workforce skill development.
Mr. Kriangkrai presented an overview of the global economy for 2025, which the International Monetary Fund (IMF) projected to grow by 3.2% and slow down to 3.1% in 2026, below the long-term average. At the same time, Thailand's economy faces challenges due to the GDP growth of only 1.2% in Q3 2025, as well as impacts from flooding crises in the southern region and the situation at the Thai-Cambodian border.
In this context, the FTI is driving the FIRST INDUSTRIES strategy to enhance competitive capabilities and evolve toward NEXT-GEN INDUSTRIES through the use of innovation and transitioning from OEM to ODM/OBM, with the shift to digital and AI being central, reflected in the promotion of investment in digital industries that increased by 551% YoY, which is a positive signal for upgrading the Thai industry, reducing costs, increasing productivity, and creating new industries in the future.
