เมื่อวันที่ 26 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นายญาณพล ลิมปนะโชคชัย รองเลขาธิการสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมงาน “The Pearl of Africa Business Forum & Expo Thailand Chapter” จัดโดยสถานกงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์สาธารณรัฐยูกันดาประจำประเทศไทย โดยได้รับเกียรติจากนางอุรษา มงคลนาวิน อธิบดีกรมเอเชียใต้ ตะวันออกกลางและแอฟริกา กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และ Honorable Mr. Fredrick Ngobi Gume, Minister of State for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives สาธารณรัฐยูกันดา ร่วมเป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงาน ณ โรงแรมอินเตอร์คอนติเนนตัล กรุงเทพ
งานสัมมนาครั้งนี้ได้รวบรวมผู้แทนจากทั้งภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนของไทยและสาธารณรัฐยูกันดา เพื่อรับฟังข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับศักยภาพทางเศรษฐกิจและโอกาสด้านการค้าและการลงทุน ตลอดจนเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเพื่อเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างผู้ประกอบการของทั้งสองประเทศ
ในการนี้ นายญาณพลได้ร่วมเป็นหนึ่งในวิทยากร นำเสนอแนวนโยบายของ ส.อ.ท. พร้อมแสดงความเห็นว่า ด้วยข้อได้เปรียบด้านทำเลที่ตั้งของยูกันดาในฐานะศูนย์กลางของกลุ่มประเทศ East African Community (EAC) รวมถึงมาตรการส่งเสริมการลงทุนจากต่างประเทศ ทำให้ยูกันดาเป็นตลาดใหม่ที่มีศักยภาพสูงสำหรับผู้ประกอบการไทย โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มเครื่องจักรกลการเกษตร ซึ่งตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของเกษตรกรยูกันดาที่กำลังมองหาเทคโนโลยีและอุปกรณ์เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพและมูลค่าผลผลิตทางการเกษตร
การเข้าร่วมงานครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการขยายเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยและยูกันดา เปิดช่องทางใหม่ด้านการค้าและการลงทุน พร้อมผลักดันความร่วมมือเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ในอนาคต ซึ่งจะช่วยเสริมความแข็งแกร่งให้กับภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยในเวทีเศรษฐกิจโลก
On November 26, 2025, Mr. Yanapol Limpanachokchai, Deputy Secretary-General of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended the "The Pearl of Africa Business Forum & Expo Thailand Chapter," organized by the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Uganda in Thailand. The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Urasa Mongkolnawin, Director-General of the Department of South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Honorable Mr. Fredrick Ngobi Gume, Minister of State for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives of the Republic of Uganda, who jointly officiated the opening ceremony at the InterContinental Hotel, Bangkok.
This seminar gathered representatives from both the public and private sectors of Thailand and the Republic of Uganda to hear information about economic potential and opportunities for trade and investment, as well as to provide a platform for exchanging views to enhance cooperation between entrepreneurs from both countries.
During this event, Mr. Yanapol participated as one of the speakers, presenting FTI's policy direction. He emphasized that Uganda's advantages in geographical location as the hub of the East African Community (EAC), along with measures to promote foreign investment, make it a new and high-potential market for Thai entrepreneurs, particularly in the agricultural machinery sector, which meets the needs of Ugandan farmers seeking technology and equipment to enhance the efficiency and value of agricultural production.
Participating in this event represents an important opportunity to expand the network of cooperation between Thailand and Uganda, opening new avenues for trade and investment and promoting strategic cooperation in the future, which will strengthen the Thai industrial sector on the global economic stage.
