ส.อ.ท. ประชุมคณะกรรมการฯ ครั้งที่ 10/2568 เดินหน้าขับเคลื่อนวาระสำคัญอุตสาหกรรมไทยFTI Holds the 10th Board Meeting of 2025 to Advance Important Industrial Agendas

On Monday, November 24, 2025, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) convened the 10th Board Meeting of 2025, chaired by Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, FTI Chairman, along with Mr. Tavee Piyapattana, Senior Vice Chairman of FTI, Mr. Sompong Nakhonsri, Senior Vice Chairman of FTI, Dr. Piyanuch Malakul na Ayutthaya, Vice Chairman and Treasurer of FTI, Mr. Isares Ratandilok na Phuket, Vice Chairman and Registrar of FTI, and Mr. Krit Inthasang, Secretary-General of FTI, as well as the Board members, at Meeting Room 109 on the 1st floor of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

During this meeting, key agendas beneficial to the advancement of the industrial sector were presented, including:

1. Approval of the annual general meeting schedule for 2026 and the election of the FTI Board for the term 2026-2028 on Monday, March 30, 2026.

2. Approval of the waiver of new member registration fees for December 2025 and the special entrance registration fee for 2026.

3. Meeting of the Zero Corruption Task Force: the Joint Private Sector and the Press Conference on Zero Corruption: the Joint Private Sector.

4. Press conference on the position of the Joint Private Sector regarding the (draft) Labor Protection Act, (draft) Clean Air Act, and (draft) Factories Act.

5. Political parties requesting meetings to discuss with the FTI executives, including the Democrat Party, the Thai New Chapter Party, and the Thai Sang Thai Party.

6. Summary of the FIT Outlook 2026 event under the theme “DECODING THAILAND’S INDUSTRY FOR THE UPCOMING FUTURE.”

7. Progress on resolving issues affecting the industrial sector and provincial industry councils.

8. Progress on organizing the annual Red Cross Fair 2025 from December 11–21, 2025 at Lumpini Park, Bangkok, under the concept “United Hearts of the People, Gratefulness to the Compassion of the Chairperson of the Thai Red Cross Society.”

9. Guidelines for managing foreign workers and the draft ministerial regulations on minimum and maximum wages used as the basis for calculating social security fund contributions.

10. Summary of the annual seminar 2025 “Driving Industrial Development: The Commitment to Sustainable Industrial Waste Management.”

11. Summary of the meeting with the advisor to the Minister of Commerce and summary of training activities for promoting knowledge about intellectual property registration for SME operators.

The meeting congratulated the following FTI executives:

1. Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, FTI Chairman, on receiving an honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from Rajamangala University of Technology Isan for the academic year 2024.

2. Mr. Chuwit Cheungthanat, FTI Executive Board Member, received an award from the Investment Analysts Association (IAA) at the IAA Awards for Listed Companies 2025 in the Agriculture Industry category for “Best CEO.”

3. Mr. Chalerm Kognuthaporn, Secretary of the Eastern Region and FTI Board Member, received an award from the Investment Analysts Association (IAA) at the IAA Awards for Listed Companies 2025 in the Agriculture Industry category for “Outstanding CEO.”

4. Dr. Kongkapan Inthrajaeng, FTI Board Member, received an award from the Investment Analysts Association (IAA) at the IAA Awards for Listed Companies 2025 in the Petroleum Industry (Oil, Gas, and Coal) category for “Best CEO.”

5. Mr. Pongtheera Patthanapeeradej, FTI Executive Board Member, received an honorary Doctorate in Science (Digital Printing Technology and Packaging) from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi.
