เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 17 กรกฎาคม 2569 สภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคเหนือ จัดการประชุมคณะกรรมการสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคเหนือ ครั้งที่ 1/2569 โดยมีนายปณิธาน ปวโรฬารวิทยา เลขาธิการสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนายไพรัตน์ เอื้อชูยศ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และคณะกรรมการบริหาร ส.อ.ท. เข้าร่วมประชุม เพื่อถ่ายทอดนโยบายและทิศทางการดำเนินงานของ ส.อ.ท. วาระปี 2569–2571 พร้อมรับฟังข้อคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะจากสมาชิกในพื้นที่ ณ โรงแรมไชยนารายณ์ ริเวอร์ไซด์ จังหวัดเชียงราย
การประชุมได้รับเกียรติจากนายนรศักดิ์ สุขสมบูรณ์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดเชียงราย กล่าวต้อนรับคณะผู้เข้าร่วมประชุม ขณะที่นายเกรียงไกร วีระฤทธิพันธ์ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคเหนือ กล่าวเปิดการประชุม พร้อมรายงานผลการดำเนินงานของสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคเหนือในวาระที่ผ่านมา และส่งมอบภารกิจสู่คณะกรรมการสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคเหนือ วาระปี 2569–2571 ก่อนร่วมรับมอบนโยบายจากสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย เพื่อใช้เป็นกรอบการขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินงานในระยะต่อไป
ภายในที่ประชุม ได้มีการรายงานความคืบหน้าการดำเนินงานของสภาอุตสาหกรรมทั้ง 4 กลุ่มจังหวัดภาคเหนือ พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองต่อโครงการสำคัญในพื้นที่ อาทิ การจัดตั้งศูนย์ Upskill Center ภาคเหนือ การผลักดันแนวคิด Northern Thailand Silicon Valley การจัดงานลำปางอุตสาหกรรมแฟร์ 2569 การแข่งขัน Northern Roboding Challenge 2026 ตลอดจนการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ของกลุ่มจังหวัดภาคเหนือตอนล่าง 1 เพื่อสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มให้กับสินค้าและเศรษฐกิจของพื้นที่
นอกจากนี้ ที่ประชุมยังได้หารือแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาความเดือดร้อนของผู้ประกอบการ การปรับปรุงผังเมืองให้สอดคล้องกับการพัฒนาภาคอุตสาหกรรม รวมถึงรับทราบความคืบหน้าด้านสิทธิประโยชน์สมาชิก แหล่งเงินทุนสนับสนุน และโครงการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมที่มุ่งยกระดับศักยภาพและขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของผู้ประกอบการในภาคเหนือ
การประชุมสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคเหนือครั้งนี้ เป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญของการบูรณาการความร่วมมือระหว่างสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดในพื้นที่ หน่วยงานภาครัฐ และภาคีเครือข่าย เพื่อร่วมกันยกระดับศักยภาพภาคอุตสาหกรรมและเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งทางเศรษฐกิจของภาคเหนืออย่างยั่งยืน
On Friday, July 17, 2026, the Northern Industrial Council conducted its 1st meeting of 2026, with Mr. Panithan Pawarolvarawit, Secretary-General of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), joined by Mr. Phairat Uechuayod, Vice Chairman of FTI, and FTI board members. The meeting aimed to convey the policies and operational directions of FTI for the year 2026–2028, while also gathering feedback and suggestions from local members at the Chai Narai Riverside Hotel in Chiang Rai province.
The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr. Narasak Suksomboon, Deputy Governor of Chiang Rai, who welcomed the participants. Meanwhile, Mr. Kriangkrai Veerarithiphan, Chairman of the Northern Industrial Council, opened the meeting and reported on the council's past activities, assigning tasks to the Northern Industrial Council for the term 2026–2028, before receiving directives from the Federation of Thai Industries to serve as the framework for future operations.
During the meeting, progress reports on the activities of the industrial councils from the four northern provinces were presented, along with discussions on significant projects in the area, such as the establishment of the Northern Upskill Center, the promotion of the Northern Thailand Silicon Valley concept, the organization of the Lampang Industrial Fair 2026, the Northern Roboding Challenge 2026, and the development of the creative industry in the Lower Northern province group 1, all aimed at enhancing the value of products and the local economy.
Additionally, the meeting discussed ways to address the problems faced by entrepreneurs, the revision of urban planning to align with industrial development, and updates on member benefits, funding sources, and development projects aimed at enhancing the capabilities and competitiveness of northern entrepreneurs.
This meeting of the Northern Industrial Council represents an important step towards integrating cooperation among local industrial councils, government agencies, and network partners to collectively enhance the industrial sector's potential and sustainably strengthen the northern economy.
