On October 29, 2025, the Chemical Industry Group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) organized the seminar “Transformation to Go: A Seminar for the Chemical Industry Towards Sustainable Growth,” featuring Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), who delivered a keynote speech on the topic “4 GO Strategy” to guide the advancement of the Thai industry through four key dimensions at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, aimed at exchanging views and experiences in adapting the Thai chemical industry to be ready for the rapid changes in technology, environment, and the global economy.

The event was honored by Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), who delivered a special speech on the “4 GO Strategy” to outline the pathways for driving the Thai industry through four key dimensions: Go Digital & AI — integrating digital technology and artificial intelligence into the production process to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate competitiveness; Go Innovation — promoting the development of technology and innovation to increase product value and create market differentiation; Go Global — expanding the competitive potential of the Thai industry into the global market with international production standards and building international partnerships; and Go Green — driving the Thai industry to grow sustainably by conducting business in an environmentally and socially friendly manner. Additionally, Mr. Atichart Chaiyasupharakull, Chairman of the Chemical Industry Group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), emphasized that the transition of the Thai chemical industry must occur concretely in terms of innovation, sustainable development, and cooperation among various sectors to ensure that the Thai industrial sector can grow robustly in the long term.

This seminar focused on the concept of “Transformation” to push the Thai chemical industry toward stable and sustainable growth through the application of technology and innovation to create new value in the industrial chain. Experts from the government, private sector, and chemical industry participated in sharing ideas on adaptation and new opportunities for the Thai industrial sector in the future, such as applying the concept of Circular Economy in the chemical industry, developing technologies to reduce carbon emissions, and utilizing clean energy to enhance production efficiency. These efforts support Thailand's goals to achieve carbon neutrality and net zero emissions.

Moreover, the event was organized under the concept of Carbon Neutral Event, emphasizing environmentally friendly practices at all stages, from activity design, efficient energy use, to the calculation and compensation of carbon emissions after the event, reflecting the intention of the chemical industry group to promote sustainability in the Thai industrial sector.

Mr. Atichart Chaiyasupharakull, Chairman of the Chemical Industry Group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), stated, “The world is changing rapidly, and the transition of the Thai chemical industry must happen purposefully in terms of innovation, environment, and collaboration to foster stable and sustainable growth — this is Transformation to Go.”

The organization of the “Transformation to Go” seminar serves as another important activity of the Chemical Industry Group of FTI that reflects its role as a hub for cooperation among entrepreneurs, government agencies, and business partners to enhance the potential of the Thai chemical industry and prepare the country for the transition to a green industrial era and a low-carbon economy in the future.
