สภาอุตฯ อ่างทอง จัดกิจกรรม “Factory Connect” ครั้งที่ 1 เชื่อมแนวคิด เชื่อมธุรกิจ เสริมเครือข่ายสมาชิกสู่การพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมอย่างยั่งยืนFTI Ang Thong Organizes “Factory Connect” Event to Link Ideas and Businesses, Enhancing Member Networks for Sustainable Industrial Development

On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, the Ang Thong Provincial Industrial Council organized the first “Factory Connect” study visit under the concept of “Linking Ideas, Linking Businesses to the Members of the Ang Thong Provincial Council” to provide members with opportunities to learn about industrial development from both the educational and private sectors, as well as to create collaborative networks among provinces and continuously enhance the capabilities of operators in the region.

In the morning, the group visited MaSHARES Co-Working Space @MB at Mahidol University Salaya, welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Wiriya Techarungrote, Director of the Management Institute of Technology and Innovation at Mahidol University, who received the participants. Mr. Panya Yimpong, Chairman of the Ang Thong Provincial Industrial Council, officially opened the event and introduced the participating entrepreneurs and members.

The event featured a special lecture on “Food Science & Agricultural Technology” by

• Assistant Professor Dr. Wachara Chintakowit, Associate Vice President of Kanchanaburi Campus for Education

• Associate Professor Dr. Kanyarat Supaboonwat, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University

The group then visited the BioTech Center and the Institute of Nutrition at Mahidol University to study the application of biotechnology and food innovations that can contribute to the development of the local processed agricultural and food industries. They listened to lectures from

• Assistant Professor Dr. Somchai Cheuwatcharin

• Dr. Sutthichai Boonprasop, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University

The activities of the morning session helped members gain an overview of the development of food technologies and innovations that can be applied in production sectors, enhancing competitiveness and creating added value for industrial products in the future.

Subsequently, the group visited Anusorn Mahachai Surimi Co., Ltd., one of the leading companies in processed seafood production in the country, receiving a warm welcome from Dr. Apisit Techanitisawat, the company executive, along with Mr. Apiwong Pasorprat, Vice Chairman of FTI.

The company shared various business and internal management practices, including:

• Cost reduction in the production process

• Domestic and international marketing

• Environmental and sustainability management

Additionally, there was an exchange of perspectives and future industrial development strategies between the Ang Thong Provincial Council and councils from other central provinces to foster cooperation, sharing experiences, and expanding business networks among members.

The “Factory Connect” event is considered a significant step for the Ang Thong Provincial Council in promoting integrated learning between the education sector and the business sector, providing opportunities for entrepreneurs to learn from real case studies, and applying the knowledge to strengthen and sustainably develop the industry in the region, aligning with the country’s economic development guidelines.
