เมื่อวันที่ 30 กันยายน 2568 สภาธุรกิจไทย–อียิปต์ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ร่วมกับสถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทย ณ กรุงไคโร จัดสัมมนาเปิดตลาดการค้าและการลงทุนในอียิปต์ ครั้งที่ 3 ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Egypt: Gateway to the Middle East, Europe and Africa” ณ ห้องประชุม 1012 ชั้น 10 ส.อ.ท. และผ่านระบบออนไลน์ (Zoom)
ภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจากนายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธาน ส.อ.ท. นายธนวัต ศิริกุล เอกอัครราชทูตไทย ณ กรุงไคโร นาง Hala Youssef Ahmed Ragab เอกอัครราชทูตอียิปต์ประจำประเทศไทย และนายอสิ ตัณสถิตย์ ประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย–อียิปต์ ร่วมกล่าวเปิดงานและต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนทางการทูตและภาคเอกชนจากประเทศอียิปต์
การสัมมนามุ่งให้ข้อมูลเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับโอกาสทางธุรกิจและการลงทุนในอียิปต์ รวมถึงสิทธิประโยชน์ด้านการลงทุนสำหรับนักลงทุนต่างชาติ โดยหน่วยงาน General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) และ Egypt–Thailand Business Council พร้อมทั้งการแบ่งปันประสบการณ์การลงทุนจริงจากบริษัท Hi-Tech Apparel ผู้ประกอบการไทยรายแรกที่ประสบความสำเร็จในการก่อตั้งโรงงานในประเทศอียิปต์
การสัมมนาครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญในการสร้างเครือข่ายและเปิดประตูความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างไทย–อียิปต์ เพื่อเสริมสร้างโอกาสใหม่ทางการค้าและการลงทุนในภูมิภาคตะวันออกกลาง แอฟริกา และยุโรป
On September 30, 2025, the Thai-Egyptian Business Council of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) collaborated with the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo to hold the 3rd seminar on trade and investment opportunities in Egypt, under the theme “Egypt: Gateway to the Middle East, Europe and Africa” at Meeting Room 1012 on the 10th floor of FTI and online via Zoom.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, President of FTI, Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Thai Ambassador to Cairo, Mrs. Hala Youssef Ahmed Ragab, Egyptian Ambassador to Thailand, and Mr. Asee Tansathit, Chairman of the Thai-Egyptian Business Council, who provided opening remarks and welcomed the delegation from the diplomatic and private sectors of Egypt.
The seminar aimed to provide in-depth information on business and investment opportunities in Egypt, including investment benefits for foreign investors by the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) and the Egypt–Thailand Business Council, along with sharing real investment experiences from Hi-Tech Apparel, the first Thai company that successfully established a factory in Egypt.
This seminar represents another significant step in building a network and opening the door for economic cooperation between Thailand and Egypt, aiming to enhance new trade and investment opportunities in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
