วันที่ 24 กันยายน 2568 นายวิวรรธน์ เหมมณฑารพ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย ดร.วิกรม วัชระคุปต์ กรรมการบริหาร ดร. วิบูลย์ รักสาสน์เจริญผล กรรมการบริหาร และ ดร.สวนิตย์ บุญญาสุวัฒน์ รองประธานคณะ BCG Model ส.อ.ท. ร่วมให้การต้อนรับนางสาวอาจารี ศรีรัตนบัลล์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา เครือรัฐออสเตรเลีย ในโอกาสเข้าพบเพื่อหารือความร่วมมือ ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท.
การหารือครั้งนี้ มุ่งเน้นการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเพื่อเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างไทย–ออสเตรเลีย โดยเฉพาะในด้านนวัตกรรม สตาร์ทอัพ และการลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมสีเขียว ซึ่งเป็นสาขาที่ออสเตรเลียมีศักยภาพ และสามารถต่อยอดสู่ความร่วมมือกับประเทศไทยได้ ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนของทั้งสองประเทศ
นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังหารือถึงความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างไทยและออสเตรเลียที่มีการพัฒนาต่อเนื่องในด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้า การศึกษา และการลงทุน โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยินดีสนับสนุนให้เกิดความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคเอกชนของไทยและออสเตรเลีย เพื่อยกระดับศักยภาพทางเศรษฐกิจและเสริมความแข็งแกร่งของพันธมิตรระหว่างสองประเทศในระยะยาว
On September 24, 2025, Mr. Wiwat Hemmatarap, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), together with Dr. Vikrom Vajaracup, Executive Board Member, Dr. Wiboon Raksasatjaroenpol, Executive Board Member, and Dr. Suwanit Boonyasuwat, Vice Chairman of the BCG Model Committee of FTI, welcomed Ms. Acharinee Siratanabhan, Ambassador in Canberra, Commonwealth of Australia, during her visit to discuss cooperation, at the Mongkolsuthee Room, 8th Floor, FTI.
This discussion focused on exchanging views to strengthen cooperation between Thailand and Australia, particularly in the areas of innovation, startups, and investment in green industries, which are sectors where Australia has significant potential and can be leveraged for collaboration with Thailand. This aligns with the sustainable development goals of both countries.
Furthermore, both parties discussed the strong relationship between Thailand and Australia, which has continued to develop in the areas of economy, trade, education, and investment. The Embassy expressed support for fostering cooperation between the private sectors of Thailand and Australia to enhance economic potential and strengthen partnerships between the two countries in the long term.
