เมื่อวันที่ 16-19 กันยายน 2568 นายวิศิษฏ์ ลิ้มประนะ ประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย – ฟิลิปปินส์ พร้อมด้วยนายเชิญพร เต็งอำนวย รองประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย – ฟิลิปปินส์ และนายอภิชัย เตชะนิธิสวัสดิ์ รองประธานสายงานการค้าและการลงทุน สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนางนลินี ทวีสิน ที่ปรึกษารองนายกรัฐมนตรี อดีตประธานผู้แทนการค้าไทย นำคณะผู้แทนภาคเอกชนไทยเยือนฟิลิปปินส์ เพื่อกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างภาคธุรกิจและร่วมกิจกรรมจับคู่ธุรกิจ จัดโดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา
ในโอกาสนี้ นางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา และคณะกรรมการสภาธุรกิจไทย-ฟิลิปปินส์ ได้เข้าพบนาง Maria Cristina A. Roque รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการค้าและอุตสาหกรรมฟิลิปปินส์ ซึ่งได้กล่าวถึงภาคเอกชนไทยที่เข้ามาลงทุนในฟิลิปปินส์ มีบทบาทสำคัญในการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของฟิลิปปินส์ และได้ยืนยันความพร้อมของรัฐบาลฟิลิปปินส์ที่จะอำนวยความสะดวกทางการค้า การลงทุน และการส่งเสริมสิทธิประโยชน์ต่างๆ ด้วย
ภายในงานจับคู่ธุรกิจ Business Matching Forum ระหว่างภาคเอกชนไทยและฟิลิปปินส์ มีผู้ประกอบการไทยและฟิลิปปินส์เข้าร่วมมากกว่า 30 บริษัท อาทิ ด้านความมั่นคงด้านอาหาร ความมั่นคงด้านพลังงาน เศรษฐกิจดิจิตัล อุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างและพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน ซึ่งกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ได้ช่วยเชื่อมเครือข่ายภาคเอกชนไทยกับฟิลิปปินส์ และส่งเสริมภาคเอกชนไทยในต่างประเทศ ตามแนวนโยบายการทูตเศรษฐกิจเชิงรุกของไทย
From September 16-19, 2025, Mr. Visith Limprana, Chairman of the Thai-Philippine Business Council, together with Mr. Cheinporn Teng-amnuay, Vice Chairman of the Thai-Philippine Business Council, and Mr. Apichai Techachinitsawat, Vice Chairman of the Trade and Investment Division of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mrs. Nalinee Thaveesin, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and former President of the Thai Trade Representative, led a delegation of Thai private sector representatives to visit the Philippines to strengthen business relations and participate in business matching activities organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila.
On this occasion, Mrs. Mahawadee Sumitmore, Ambassador to Manila, and the committee of the Thai-Philippine Business Council met with Ms. Maria Cristina A. Roque, Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry of the Philippines, who emphasized the important role of Thai private sector investments in the development of the Philippine economy and affirmed the readiness of the Philippine government to facilitate trade, investment, and promote various benefits as well.
During the Business Matching Forum, which facilitated interactions between the Thai and Philippine private sectors, more than 30 companies from both Thailand and the Philippines participated, covering sectors such as food security, energy security, digital economy, construction equipment, and infrastructure development. These activities helped connect the Thai private sector with the Philippines and promoted Thai private enterprises abroad in line with Thailand's proactive economic diplomacy policy.
