เมื่อวันที่ 17–18 กันยายน 2568 ดร.ภก.นิลสุวรรณ ลีลารัศมี รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนายปรนนท์ ฐิตะวรรโณ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และประธานสถาบันดิจิทัลเพื่ออุตสาหกรรม เข้าร่วม WTO Public Forum 2025 จัดโดยองค์การการค้าโลก (World Trade Organization: WTO) ณ สำนักงานใหญ่ WTO กรุงเจนีวา สมาพันธรัฐสวิส
เวทีปีนี้จัดขึ้นภายใต้หัวข้อ “Enhance, Create, and Preserve” มุ่งสะท้อนบทบาทการเปลี่ยนผ่านของการค้าโลกสู่ยุคเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล ที่เน้นการสร้างการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ การจ้างงาน และการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน โดยเฉพาะในมิติการค้าออนไลน์และการประยุกต์ใช้ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI)
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการหารือถึงการสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อเสริมขีดความสามารถและกำหนดกฎระเบียบทางการค้าให้สอดคล้องกันอย่างเป็นระบบ โดยการประชุมครั้งนี้ครอบคลุมกว่า 88 หัวข้อ และมีผู้เข้าร่วมมากกว่า 4,200 คน จากทั้งภาครัฐ เอกชน และภาคประชาสังคมทั่วโลก
ในโอกาสเดียวกัน ผู้แทน ส.อ.ท. ยังได้เข้าพบนางพิมพ์ชนก พิตต์ฟีลด์ เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำองค์การการค้าโลกและองค์การทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาโลก ร่วมกับคณะผู้แทนไทย เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลด้านการค้าโลก และหารือถึงโอกาสความร่วมมือในอนาคต

On September 17-18, 2025, Dr. Phongchana Nilsuwan Leelarasmi, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Pornnath Thitawaran, Vice President of FTI and President of the Digital Institute for Industry, attended the WTO Public Forum 2025 organized by the World Trade Organization (WTO) at the WTO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
This year's forum took place under the theme "Enhance, Create, and Preserve," reflecting the transitional role of global trade towards the digital economy, emphasizing economic growth, employment, and sustainable development, particularly in the areas of online trade and the application of artificial intelligence (AI).
Furthermore, discussions focused on fostering international cooperation to enhance capacity and systematically align trade regulations. The meeting covered more than 88 topics and attracted over 4,200 participants from government, private sector, and civil society around the world.
On this occasion, representatives of FTI also met with Ms. Pimpachana Pittfield, Ambassador of Thailand to the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization, along with the Thai delegation, to exchange information on global trade and discuss future cooperation opportunities.
