เมื่อวันที่ 11 กันยายน 2568 นายนาวา จันทนสุรคน รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมงาน Danish Business Club Breakfast Meeting โดยมี H.E. Mr. Danny Annan เอกอัครราชทูตเดนมาร์กประจำประเทศไทย เป็นเจ้าภาพ ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตเดนมาร์กประจำประเทศไทย กรุงเทพฯ
ภายในงาน ผู้แทน ส.อ.ท. ได้หารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นร่วมกับภาคเอกชนเดนมาร์กในประเด็นสถานการณ์ภูมิรัฐศาสตร์โลกและผลกระทบต่อเศรษฐกิจไทย
ในปัจจุบัน แม้ว่าไทยจะสามารถเจรจาลดภาษีกับสหรัฐฯ ลงมาอยู่ที่ 19% ได้สำเร็จ แต่ยังคงเผชิญความท้าทายจากปัญหาสินค้า Transshipment และการนำเข้าสินค้าจีนที่เข้ามาตีตลาดภายในประเทศ
นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองในเรื่องการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่เศรษฐกิจสีเขียว (Green Transition) โดยไทยมองว่า เดนมาร์กถือเป็นประเทศต้นแบบในการพัฒนาพลังงานทดแทนจากกังหันลม ขณะที่ภาคเอกชนเดนมาร์กมีความสนใจให้ไทยเปิดเสรีด้านการลงทุนพลังงานทดแทนมากยิ่งขึ้น
พร้อมกันนี้ ยังได้มีการหารือเกี่ยวกับความคืบหน้าในการเจรจา ข้อตกลงการค้าเสรีไทย–สหภาพยุโรป (Thai–EU FTA) โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายต่างคาดหวังว่าจะสามารถบรรลุผลได้ในเร็ว ๆ นี้ เพื่อเปิดโอกาสทางการค้าและการลงทุนร่วมกันอย่างกว้างขวางยิ่งขึ้น
On September 11, 2025, Mr. Nava Chanthasurakorn, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended the Danish Business Club Breakfast Meeting hosted by H.E. Mr. Danny Annan, Ambassador of Denmark to Thailand, at the Danish Embassy in Bangkok.
During the event, FTI representatives discussed and exchanged views with the Danish private sector on global geopolitical situations and their impacts on the Thai economy.
Currently, although Thailand has successfully negotiated a reduction of tariffs with the United States down to 19%, it still faces challenges from transshipment issues and the influx of Chinese products into the domestic market.
Additionally, both parties exchanged views on the transition to a green economy, with Thailand considering Denmark as a model country in the development of renewable energy from wind turbines, while the Danish private sector is interested in Thailand increasing liberalization in renewable energy investments.
Furthermore, there were discussions on the progress of negotiations for the Thailand-European Union Free Trade Agreement (Thai–EU FTA), with both parties hoping to reach an agreement soon to expand trade and investment opportunities considerably.
