On Monday, August 25, 2025, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) convened the 7th meeting of the FTI Committee (2025), chaired by Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the FTI, alongside Mr. Thavee Piyaphatthana, Senior Vice Chairman of the FTI, Dr. Piyanuj Malakul na Ayutthaya, Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the FTI, Mr. Isares Ratandilok na Phuket, Vice Chairman and Registrar of the FTI, and Mr. Krit Insaeng, Secretary-General of the FTI, along with the committee members at Meeting Room 109, 1st Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

This meeting featured significant agendas beneficial for the advancement of the industrial sector, including:
1. Approval of the name, logo, and regulations for the Innovation Institute for Industry.
2. Approval of the name, logo, and regulations for the Agricultural Industry Institute.
3. Participation in the 8th Bangkok - Shanghai Economic Conference, emphasizing cooperation between Thailand and the Yangtze River Delta region of China in developing advanced industries.
4. A visit to Singapore to foster collaboration in promoting the supply chain of the industrial and logistics sectors.
5. A meeting to discuss the framework for determining natural gas pricing (Pool Gas) with the Office of Policy and Planning for Energy, Ministry of Energy, to express FTI's stance on the guidelines for determining natural gas pricing.
6. The Working Group on Sustainable Development provided proposals for improving the draft Clean Air Management Act B.E. ....
7. The Energy Working Group proposed three main energy policy recommendations:
 1) Development of the National Power Development Plan (PDP) and presentation of electricity production cost data to enhance understanding in the energy sector.
 2) Adjustment of energy pricing structures to be fair, equitable, and sustainable.
 3) Support for the transition to clean energy and enhance competitive capability.
8. The ONE FTI initiative extended support to members affected by the northern flooding, visiting Nan Province to offer encouragement to those impacted by inundation.
9. Progress on resolving the issues faced by industrial groups and provincial industrial councils.
10. A survey project on industrial wages for 2025, where the results can be utilized for recruitment and selection of personnel, employment planning, and consideration of bonuses and benefits to enhance human resource management efficiency in the industrial sector.
11. Proposals for managing foreign labor to replace Cambodian workers, addressing undocumented labor, importing workers from other nationalities per MOU, including management approaches for refugees from Myanmar to ensure continuity and sustainability of employment in the industrial sector.
12. Consideration of the minimum wage rate in provinces based on the criteria established by the Wage Committee.
13. Announcement of the launch of the FTI e-Connect system for accessing contact information of committee members and staff, alongside a function for notifying and registering for meetings to improve communication and meeting organization efficiency.
14. Summary of the meeting outcomes from consultations between the Creative Industry Development Institute and the Department of Intellectual Property.
15. Summary on the training course for applying industrial robotics systems in Nanning, China.

Additionally, the meeting congratulated FTI executives who received the “Diamond Commerce” award for the year 2025, with the following recipients:
• Mr. Kongaek Plengsak, FTI Committee member, received the award in the “Industrial Goods Entrepreneur” category.
• Mrs. Thidarath Rodanant, President of the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Industrial Council and FTI Committee member, received the award in the “Agricultural Goods Entrepreneur” category.
• Mr. Narongsak Chuensuch, President of the Ratchaburi Provincial Industrial Council and FTI Committee member, received the award in the “Innovation Creator Entrepreneur” category.
