ส.อ.ท. ตอกย้ำบทบาทเอกชน เสริมแกร่งความมั่นคงชาติในยุค AI DisruptionFTI Reinforces the Role of the Private Sector in Strengthening National Security in the Era of AI Disruption

On August 1, 2025, Mr. Arun Iemsuri, Chairman of the Thai–Chinese Economic and Investment Institute at the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in a discussion on the topic “The Role of the Private Sector in National Security in the Era of AI Disruption” at the Security Psychology Institute, National Defense Studies Institute.

Mr. Arun emphasized that “the economy is a critical aspect of security.” Addressing technological changes, particularly AI, requires cooperation between the public and private sectors to maintain the stability of the supply chain and enhance the country's competitiveness amidst challenges from the volatile global economy and rapidly evolving innovations.

Moreover, the FTI reaffirms its commitment to being a key force in coordinating collaboration between the industrial sector and the government to create long-term security in economic, technological, and social aspects for the country.
