เมื่อวันที่ 29 กรกฎาคม 2568 ดร.นิลสุวรรณ ลีลารัศมี รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และนายอรินทร์ จิรา รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนคณะกรรมการร่วมภาคเอกชน 3 สถาบัน (กกร.) ได้เข้าร่วมหารือกับเดวิด โอซัลลิแวน ผู้แทนระดับสูงด้านมาตรการคว่ำบาตรสหภาพยุโรป
(Mr. David O’Sullivan, EU Sanctions Envoy) และเดวิด รีด ผู้บริหารระดับสูงสำนักมาตรการคว่ำบาตรสหราชอาณาจักร (Mr. David Reed, Director, UK Sanctions) ณ ห้อง Corundum ชั้น 3 อาคาร Shangri-La Wing โรงแรมแชงกรี-ลา กรุงเทพฯ
การหารือครั้งนี้ ได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล มุมมอง และทิศทางของมาตรการคว่ำบาตรระหว่างประเทศ ตลอดจนแนวทางความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนของไทยกับสหภาพยุโรปและสหราชอาณาจักร เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจร่วมกัน ลดผลกระทบที่อาจเกิดขึ้นต่อการค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างประเทศ และเตรียมความพร้อมของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยต่อบริบทโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว
ทั้งนี้ การหารือดังกล่าว สะท้อนถึงบทบาทเชิงรุกของภาคเอกชนไทยในการติดตามและมีส่วนร่วมในประเด็นระหว่างประเทศที่อาจส่งผลกระทบต่อภาคอุตสาหกรรมของประเทศ ตลอดจนเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศในระดับนโยบายและยุทธศาสตร์
On July 29, 2025, Dr. Nilsuwanna Leelarathamee, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), and Mr. Arinth Jira, Vice President of FTI, along with representatives from the Joint Private Sector Committee of three institutions (JCC), participated in discussions with Mr. David O’Sullivan, EU Sanctions Envoy, and Mr. David Reed, Director, UK Sanctions, at the Corundum Room on the 3rd floor of the Shangri-La Wing, Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.
This discussion provided an exchange of information, perspectives, and directions regarding international sanctions measures, as well as cooperation strategies between the Thai public and private sectors with the European Union and the United Kingdom, to foster mutual understanding, mitigate impacts that may arise on international trade and investment, and prepare the Thai industrial sector for the rapidly changing global context.
Furthermore, the discussion reflected the proactive role of the Thai private sector in monitoring and participating in international issues that may affect the country's industrial sector, as well as enhancing international cooperation at the policy and strategic levels.
