เมื่อวันที่ 10 กรกฎาคม 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนายมงคล เฮงโรจนโสภณ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และประธานสถาบันพลังงานเพื่ออุตสาหกรรม ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้บริหารจากมูลนิธิสถาบันพลังงานทางเลือกแห่งประเทศไทย นำโดยนายสุเมฆ ปัณฑรานุวงศ์ ประธานมูลนิธิสถาบันพลังงานทางเลือกแห่งประเทศไทย ณ ห้อง 1011 PEP Healthy, Tasty ส.อ.ท.
ในโอกาสนี้ คณะผู้บริหารมูลนิธิฯ ได้เข้าพบเพื่อร่วมแสดงความยินดีแก่นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งประธาน ส.อ.ท. วาระปี 2569–2571 พร้อมหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือในการขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมไทยด้วยพลังงานทางเลือก โดยมุ่งผลักดันพลังงานชีวมวล (Biomass) และ เอทานอล (Ethanol) ให้เป็นกลไกสำคัญในการเชื่อมโยงภาคพลังงาน ภาคอุตสาหกรรม และภาคเกษตร เพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนา Green Logistics สู่สังคมคาร์บอนต่ำบรรลุเป้าหมายการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero)
ที่ประชุมได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของพลังงานชีวมวลในการผลักดันสู่ Renewable Firm Energy รวมถึงการส่งเสริมเอทานอลให้เป็น Strategic Fuel ในช่วงเปลี่ยนผ่านด้านพลังงาน โดยหารือถึงแนวทางการส่งเสริมการใช้เชื้อเพลิงชีวภาพ อาทิ E20, Biodiesel และเชื้อเพลิงอากาศยานยั่งยืน (SAF) ซึ่งประเทศไทยมีศักยภาพในการผลิตภายในประเทศ สามารถเพิ่มการพึ่งพาตนเองด้านพลังงาน ลดการนำเข้า สร้างรายได้หมุนเวียนให้แก่ภาคเกษตร และยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรม ควบคู่กับการดูแลสิ่งแวดล้อมและการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน
นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังเห็นพ้องถึงความสำคัญของการสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการใช้พลังงานชีวภาพ เพื่อสร้างความเชื่อมั่นว่ามีสมรรถนะเทียบเท่าเชื้อเพลิงฟอสซิล อันจะช่วยกระตุ้นความต้องการใช้ภายในประเทศ (Demand Driven) และเป็นแรงขับเคลื่อนให้อุตสาหกรรมพลังงานชีวภาพของไทยสู่การเติบโตที่มั่นคงและยั่งยืน
On July 10, 2026, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairperson of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Mongkol Hengrojanasopon, FTI Vice President and Chairman of the Energy Institute for Industry, welcomed a delegation from the Alternative Energy Institute Foundation of Thailand, led by Mr. Sumehk Pandharanuwong, Chairman of the Foundation, at Room 1011 PEP Healthy, Tasty, FTI.
During this occasion, the executives of the foundation congratulated Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul on her appointment as Chairperson of FTI for the term 2026-2028, while discussing cooperative strategies to drive the Thai industry using alternative energy. The focus was on promoting biomass energy and ethanol as key mechanisms to connect the energy sector, industrial sector, and agricultural sector, supporting the development of Green Logistics towards a low-carbon society to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions.
The meeting exchanged views on the role of biomass energy in advancing toward Renewable Firm Energy and promoting ethanol as a Strategic Fuel during the energy transition. They discussed approaches to promote the use of biofuels such as E20, Biodiesel, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), in which Thailand has the potential for domestic production, enhancing energy self-sufficiency, reducing imports, generating recurring income for the agricultural sector, and boosting the competitiveness of the industrial sector, alongside environmental protection and sustainable development.
Furthermore, both parties acknowledged the importance of building understanding regarding bioenergy use to ensure confidence in its performance comparable to fossil fuels, which will stimulate domestic demand and drive the Thai bioenergy industry towards stable and sustainable growth.
