On July 16, 2025, Mr. Aseet Tansathit, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Wiwat Hemmatanarong, Vice Chairman of the FTI, had the honor of participating in the signing ceremony of the 'Memorandum on the Establishment of a Joint Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Thailand and Belarus' between the Ministry of Commerce, represented by Mr. Chantawich Tansathit, Deputy Minister of Commerce, and the Republic of Belarus, represented by Mr. Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, at the Athenee Hotel Bangkok.

The establishment of the Joint Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Thailand and Belarus marks a significant step in enhancing economic collaboration between Thailand and the Republic of Belarus. It aims to serve as a platform to promote trade, investment, and cooperative exchanges between the public and private sectors of both countries in the long term. Moreover, it opens opportunities for Thai and Belarusian private sectors to expand cooperation in various fields, such as green economy, technology, and logistics systems.
