Today (June 27, 2025), officials from the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) participated in a training activity on "Fire Evacuation Drills for High-Rise Buildings and Fire Prevention," organized by Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep (RMUTK), to enhance knowledge, understanding, and skills in emergency prevention and response that may occur in real situations at RMUTK.
The event consisted of two key segments, as follows:
🔹 The morning session included an online lecture (Zoom) on the basic principles of fire and earthquake prevention, risk analysis in high-rise buildings, and safe evacuation methods.
🔹 The afternoon session involved a presentation on CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) or "life-saving assistance," which focused on basic first aid procedures in the event of a patient's sudden stop of breathing or cardiac arrest, along with practical fire prevention drills simulating fire scenarios, initial fire extinguisher usage, and fire evacuation training according to safety standards.
Participation in this event marks a part of FTI's efforts to develop the potential of its personnel in preparing for disasters and emergencies that may arise, as well as promoting a sustainable safety culture within the organization.
