วันที่ 9 มิถุนายน 2568 สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ร่วมกับ สำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล (depa) และสำนักงานมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม (สมอ.) จัดพิธีเปิดการประชุม Global ISO Conference 2025 อย่างเป็นทางการ ภายใต้หัวข้อ “ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 7: Software and Systems Engineering” เพื่อร่วมพัฒนากรอบมาตรฐานเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและวิศวกรรมซอฟต์แวร์ระดับนานาชาติ ณ อาคารสำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล (depa) กรุงเทพฯ
นายอมฤต ฟรานเซน ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมดิจิทัล ส.อ.ท. และหัวหน้าคณะผู้แทนไทย (Head of Thai Delegate) กล่าวรายงานผลการดำเนินงานของคณะผู้แทนไทยในคณะกรรมการ ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 7 โดยเน้นถึงบทบาทของไทยที่ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงผู้ตาม แต่กำลังก้าวขึ้นมาเป็นหนึ่งในผู้ร่วมกำหนดแนวทางมาตรฐานระดับสากล โดยเฉพาะในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับมาตรฐานซอฟต์แวร์คุณภาพ วิศวกรรมระบบ และการบริหารจัดการโครงการเทคโนโลยี และเพื่อเป็นแนวทางการขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนและมีประสิทธิภาพในการแข่งขันระดับโลก ภายใต้นโยบาย 4GO ของ ส.อ.ท. ได้แก่ Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global และ Go Green
ภายในพิธีเปิด ได้รับเกียรติจากนายประเสริฐ จันทรรวงทอง รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงดิจิทัลเพื่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคม เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงาน โดยเน้นย้ำถึงบทบาทสำคัญของประเทศไทยในการผลักดันมาตรฐานดิจิทัลให้เป็นกลไกสำคัญในการยกระดับความสามารถด้านการแข่งขันของประเทศในยุคเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล พร้อมทั้งแสดงความเชื่อมั่นว่า ไทยมีศักยภาพในการเป็นศูนย์กลางของภูมิภาคในด้านการพัฒนามาตรฐานเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ
ด้าน ผศ.ดร.ณัฐพล นิมมานพัชรินทร์ ผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ depa กล่าวรายงานวัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดประชุมว่า งานนี้ไม่เพียงเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ระหว่างผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากนานาชาติ แต่ยังเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการแสดงศักยภาพของไทยต่อเวทีโลก ในฐานะผู้นำด้านมาตรฐานซอฟต์แวร์และระบบสารสนเทศ ที่มีความพร้อมทั้งด้านบุคลากร โครงสร้างพื้นฐาน และความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และองค์กรระหว่างประเทศ
ภายในงาน ยังมีพิธีมอบรางวัลให้แก่หน่วยงานไทยที่มีบทบาทโดดเด่นในการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการพัฒนามาตรฐานและระบบการรับรอง เพื่อเป็นการยกย่องความทุ่มเทและสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้หน่วยงานอื่น ๆ เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมมากยิ่งขึ้น
การประชุม “Global ISO Conference 2025” ถือเป็นหมุดหมายสำคัญในการยกระดับประเทศไทยให้มีบทบาทในระดับนานาชาติในฐานะศูนย์กลางความร่วมมือด้านมาตรฐานดิจิทัล และเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลของประเทศให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน พร้อมเชื่อมโยงกับเศรษฐกิจโลกในอนาคตอย่างแข็งแกร่ง
On June 9, 2025, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), in collaboration with the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and the Industrial Standards Institute, officially launched the Global ISO Conference 2025 under the theme “ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 7: Software and Systems Engineering” to jointly develop frameworks for international information technology and software engineering standards at the depa headquarters in Bangkok.
Mr. Amaret Franzen, Chairman of the Digital Industry Group at FTI and Head of the Thai Delegation, reported on the activities of the Thai delegation in the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 7 committee, emphasizing Thailand’s role as not just a follower but as a key contributor to establishing international standards, particularly in relation to software quality standards, systems engineering, and technology project management, aimed at driving the Thai industry towards sustainable growth and enhanced global competitiveness under FTI's 4GO policy, which includes Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global, and Go Green.
The opening ceremony featured a speech by Mr. Prasert Chanthararuangthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, who highlighted Thailand’s critical role in advancing digital standards as a key mechanism to enhance the country's competitiveness in the digital economy era. He expressed confidence that Thailand has the potential to become a regional hub for the development of information technology standards.
Dr. Natthaphon Nimmannapatcharin, Director-General of depa, reported on the objectives of the meeting, indicating that this event serves not only as a platform for knowledge exchange among international experts but also as an important opportunity to showcase Thailand's capabilities on the global stage as a leader in software and information systems standards, equipped with skilled personnel, infrastructure, and cooperation among government, private sectors, and international organizations.
The event also included an award ceremony to honor Thai organizations that have played significant roles in promoting and supporting the development of standards and certification systems, recognizing their dedication and inspiring other organizations to participate more actively.
The “Global ISO Conference 2025” marks a significant milestone in elevating Thailand's role on the international stage as a center for cooperation in digital standards and represents an important step in promoting the country’s digital economy towards sustainable growth, while connecting robustly with the global economy in the future.
