เมื่อวันที่ 8 มิถุนายน 2568 นายอรุณ เอี่ยมสุรีย์ ประธานสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย–จีน ได้ร่วมกล่าวในฟอรั่มสำหรับธุรกิจหัวข้อ “การสืบทอดวัฒนธรรมกับการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ” ซึ่งจัดขึ้นภายใต้งานสัมมนา “ฟอรั่มอารยธรรมแห่งความปรองดองประจำปี 2025” โดยสหพันธ์ขงจื้อนานาชาติ ร่วมกับสภาวัฒนธรรมไทย–จีน ณ โรงแรมแชงกรีลา กรุงเทพฯ
นายอรุณ ได้กล่าวถึงบทบาทของความสัมพันธ์ทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างไทย–จีน ซึ่งมีพัฒนาการต่อเนื่องและแน่นแฟ้น โดยความใกล้ชิดระหว่างทั้งสองประเทศเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่เอื้อต่อการขยายความร่วมมือด้านการค้า การลงทุน และการพัฒนาห่วงโซ่อุปทานร่วมกันอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
ทั้งนี้ สถาบันฯ มุ่งส่งเสริมความร่วมมือกับพันธมิตรจากจีนในด้านเทคโนโลยี การลงทุนสีเขียว และอุตสาหกรรมอนาคต โดยสอดคล้องกับวาระครบรอบ 50 ปีแห่งความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย–จีน ที่เป็นจุดเปลี่ยนสำคัญในการยกระดับความร่วมมือทั้งเชิงวัฒนธรรมและเศรษฐกิจอย่างยั่งยืน
On June 8, 2025, Mr. Arun Eamsuree, Chairman of the Thai–Chinese Economic and Investment Institute, participated in a business forum on the topic of “Cultural Heritage and Economic Development,” which was held as part of the “2025 Annual Forum of Civilizations for Reconciliation,” organized by the International Confucian Federation in collaboration with the Thai–Chinese Cultural Council at the Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok.
Mr. Arun addressed the role of economic relations between Thailand and China, which have continuously developed and strengthened. The closeness between the two countries is a key factor that facilitates the expansion of cooperation in trade, investment, and the effective development of a joint supply chain.
The institute aims to promote cooperation with Chinese partners in the areas of technology, green investment, and future industries, aligned with the 50th anniversary of Thai–Chinese diplomatic relations, marking a significant turning point in elevating cooperation in both cultural and sustainable economic dimensions.
