วันที่ 27 พฤษภาคม 2568 นายวิเชาวน์ รักพงษ์ไพโรจน์ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนายอรินทร์ จิรา นายชาติชาย พานิชชีวะ และ ดร.ภก.นิลสุวรรณ ลีลารัศมี รองประธานฯ ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ Mr. Anders Ahnlid, Director General of National Board of Trade, Sweden และคณะ เนื่องในโอกาสเยือนประเทศไทย ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ส.อ.ท.
การหารือครั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจและการค้า รวมถึงโอกาสในการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสีเขียวและการลงทุนที่ยั่งยืนระหว่างประเทศไทยและสวีเดน อีกทั้งยังได้หารือถึงนโยบายการค้าระหว่างประเทศ การส่งเสริมนวัตกรรม และบทบาทของภาคเอกชนในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจอย่างยั่งยืน รวมทั้งการเจรจาเขตการค้าเสรี (FTA) ระหว่างไทยและสหภาพยุโรปที่จะช่วยเสริมสร้างการค้าระหว่างกัน
ทั้งนี้ ความสัมพันธ์ทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างไทยและสวีเดนมีความแน่นแฟ้นมาอย่างยาวนาน โดยสวีเดนเป็นหนึ่งในประเทศคู่ค้าที่สำคัญของไทยในกลุ่มนอร์ดิก และมีบริษัทสัญชาติสวีเดนจำนวนมากที่เข้ามาลงทุนและดำเนินธุรกิจในประเทศไทย โดยเฉพาะในสาขาเทคโนโลยี การผลิตยั่งยืน และพลังงานสะอาด
การหารือในครั้งนี้ จึงนับเป็นโอกาสอันดีในการยกระดับความร่วมมือเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ระหว่างทั้งสองประเทศในยุคเศรษฐกิจสีเขียวและดิจิทัล
On May 27, 2025, Mr. Vichawain Rukphongphairoj, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Arinthorn Jira, Mr. Chatchai Panichcheewa, and Dr. Phak Nilsuwanna Leelarasamee, Vice Chairmen, welcomed Mr. Anders Ahnlid, Director General of the National Board of Trade, Sweden, and his delegation on the occasion of their visit to Thailand at the Mongkolsuthee Room, FTI.
During this discussion, both parties exchanged views on ways to enhance cooperation in economic and trade areas, as well as the opportunities for developing green industries and sustainable investments between Thailand and Sweden. They also discussed international trade policies, promotion of innovation, and the role of the private sector in driving sustainable economic growth, including negotiations on the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Thailand and the European Union, which aims to bolster trade relations.
Furthermore, the economic relationship between Thailand and Sweden has been long-standing, as Sweden is one of Thailand's key trading partners in the Nordic region, with numerous Swedish companies investing and operating in Thailand, particularly in the fields of technology, sustainable manufacturing, and clean energy.
This discussion thus represents a valuable opportunity to elevate strategic cooperation between the two nations in the era of the green and digital economy.
