ส.อ.ท. จัดบรรยายพิเศษ “ร่าง พ.ร.บ. อากาศสะอาด” เสริมสร้างความเข้าใจภาคอุตสาหกรรมFTI Holds Special Lecture on the Draft Clean Air Act to Enhance Understanding in the Industrial Sector

On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, the Water and Environment Institute for Sustainability of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), led by Dr. Chana Poomi, the Institute's Chairman, organized a special lecture on the topic "Draft Act for Clean Air Management". The event featured Dr. Bandhu Surathirot, a member of the special committee reviewing the draft Act for Clean Air Management, the Chairman of the subcommittee considering the conceptual framework, key principles, and management structure of the draft Act, and the Director of the Natural State Institute for Social and Environmental Development, as the keynote speaker. This session aimed to enhance understanding and provide a platform for exchanging views with the industrial sector regarding this important legislative draft at meeting room 1011 on the 10th floor of the FTI and via the Microsoft Teams online system.

The lecture garnered widespread interest from related industrial groups, including the chemical industry, air conditioning and refrigeration, steel, printing and packaging, petrochemicals, electricity generation, automotive, food and beverage, as well as other relevant private sector entities.

This activity marks an important step in promoting collaboration between the government and the industrial sector to support legislation that addresses sustainable development and creates good air quality for the Thai population in the future.
