เมื่อวันพุธที่ 14 พฤษภาคม 2568 นางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมการประชุมสมาคมธุรกิจอินเดีย-ไทย (ITBA) โดยได้รับเกียรติจากนายนาเคศ สิงห์ (H.E. Mr. Nagesh Singh) เอกอัครราชทูตอินเดียประจำประเทศไทย และแขกผู้มีเกียรติร่วมงาน ณ โรงแรมแรมแบรนดท์ กรุงเทพฯ
ภายในงาน นายนาเคศ สิงห์ ได้เน้นถึงความร่วมมือด้านการค้าและการลงทุนในอนาคตระหว่างประเทศไทยและอินเดีย ซึ่งมีศักยภาพในหลากหลายด้าน อาทิ พลังงานทดแทน เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล การแปรรูปอาหาร และการท่องเที่ยว และกล่าวถึงความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีในด้านการค้าและการลงทุนที่มีร่วมกันตลอดมา
สมาคมธุรกิจอินเดีย-ไทย (ITBA) ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 1991 ผ่านความคิดริเริ่มร่วมกันของสถานทูตอินเดียและผู้นําธุรกิจอินเดียในประเทศไทย ทั้งนี้ ITBA เป็นองค์กรธุรกิจที่จดทะเบียนภายใต้กระทรวงพาณิชย์ เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ทางธุรกิจและการค้าระหว่างอินเดียและไทย
On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Ms. Pechrat Eaksangkul, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended the India-Thai Business Association (ITBA) meeting, graced by H.E. Mr. Nagesh Singh, the Ambassador of India to Thailand, and esteemed guests at the Rembrandt Hotel, Bangkok.
During the event, Mr. Nagesh Singh emphasized the future cooperation in trade and investment between Thailand and India, which holds potential in various sectors, such as renewable energy, digital technology, food processing, and tourism. He also highlighted the longstanding positive relationship in trade and investment that has been shared.
The India-Thai Business Association (ITBA) was established in 1991 through a joint initiative of the Indian Embassy and Indian business leaders in Thailand. ITBA is a business organization registered under the Ministry of Commerce, aimed at promoting business and trade relations between India and Thailand.
