วันอังคารที่ 29 เมษายน 2568 นายสุรพงษ์ ไพสิฐพัฒนพงษ์ ที่ปรึกษาประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์และโฆษกกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ร่วมเปิดเผยจำนวนการผลิต ยอดขายภายในประเทศ และการส่งออกรถยนต์และรถจักรยานยนต์ของประเทศ ในเดือนมีนาคม 2568 ดังต่อไปนี้
*การผลิต*
จำนวนรถยนต์ทั้งหมดที่ผลิตได้ในเดือนมีนาคม 2568 มีทั้งสิ้น 129,909 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2568 ร้อยละ 12.49 แต่ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 6.09 เพราะผลิตส่งออกลดลงร้อยละ 9.36 จากการผลิตรถยนต์นั่งลดลงร้อยละถึง 51.18 เพราะมีการเปลี่ยนรุ่นรถบางรุ่นของรถยนต์นั่ง แต่ผลิตรถยนต์นั่งเพื่อจำหน่ายในประเทศเพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 35.01 เพราะผลิตรถยนต์ไฟฟ้าทั้ง BEV และ PHEV เพิ่มขึ้น แต่ผลิตรถกระบะลดลงร้อยละ 29.32 ตามยอดขายรถกระบะยังคงลดลง
จำนวนรถยนต์ที่ผลิตได้ในเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 352,499 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 14.88
รถยนต์นั่ง เดือนมีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ 45,588 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 12.50 โดยแบ่งเป็น
• รถยนต์นั่ง Internal Combustion Engine มีจำนวน 18,451 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 41.77
• รถยนต์นั่ง Battery Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 5,412 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 341.44
• รถยนต์นั่ง Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 2,360 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 289.44
• รถยนต์นั่ง Hybrid Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 19,365 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 4.21
ยอดผลิตของรถยนต์นั่ง ตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 มีจำนวน 119,865 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 34 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 22.69 โดยแบ่งเป็น
• รถยนต์นั่ง Internal Combustion Engine มีจำนวน 53,267 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 43.29
• รถยนต์นั่ง Battery Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 9,319 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 252.06
• รถยนต์นั่ง Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 6,752 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 336.18
• รถยนต์นั่ง Hybrid Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 50,527 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 11.25
รถยนต์โดยสารขนาดต่ำกว่า 10 ตัน และมากกว่า 10 ตัน ขึ้นไป ในเดือนมีนาคม 2568 ไม่มีการผลิต รวมเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 ไม่มีการผลิต
รถยนต์บรรทุก เดือนมีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ทั้งหมด 84,321 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 2.22 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ทั้งสิ้น 232,634 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 10.20
รถกระบะขนาด 1 ตัน เดือนมีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ทั้งหมด 83,417 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 0.25 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ทั้งสิ้น 230,038 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 65.26 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 8.08 โดยแบ่งเป็น
• รถกระบะบรรทุก 40,362 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 12.70
• รถกระบะดับเบิลแค็บ 142,616 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 11.43
• รถกระบะ PPV 47,060 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 9.47
รถบรรทุกขนาดต่ำกว่า 5 ตัน - มากกว่า 10 ตัน เดือนมีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ 904 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 70.09 รวมเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ 2,596 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 70.55
*ผลิตเพื่อส่งออก*
เดือนมีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ 83,217 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 64.06 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 9.36 ส่วนเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 ผลิตเพื่อส่งออกได้ 236,796 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 67.18 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2567 ระยะเวลาเดียวกันร้อยละ 13.48
รถยนต์นั่ง เดือนมีนาคม 2568 ผลิตเพื่อการส่งออก 14,022 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 51.18 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 ผลิตเพื่อส่งออกได้ทั้งสิ้น 41,487 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 34.61 ของยอดผลิตรถยนต์นั่ง ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 49.29
รถกระบะขนาด 1 ตัน เดือนมีนาคม 2568 มียอดการผลิตเพื่อการส่งออก 69,195 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 9.68 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 ผลิตเพื่อส่งออกได้ทั้งสิ้น 195,309 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 84.90 ของยอดการผลิตรถกระบะ ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 1.79 โดยแบ่งเป็น
• รถกระบะบรรทุก 25,489 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม-มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 45.33
• รถกระบะดับเบิลแค็บ 130,543 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม-มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 5.54
• รถกระบะ PPV 39,277 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม-มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 8.71
*ผลิตเพื่อจำหน่ายในประเทศ*
เดือนมีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ 46,692 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 35.94 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 0.36 และเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ 115,703 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 32.82 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 17.62
รถยนต์นั่ง เดือนมีนาคม 2568 ผลิตเพื่อจำหน่ายในประเทศ 31,566 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 35.01 แต่ตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ 78,378 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 65.39 ของยอดการผลิตรถยนต์นั่ง โดยเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 7.01
รถกระบะขนาด 1 ตัน เดือนมีนาคม 2568 มียอดการผลิตเพื่อจำหน่ายในประเทศ 14,222 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 29.32 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ทั้งสิ้น 34,729 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 15.10 ของยอดการผลิตรถกระบะ และลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 40.51 ซึ่งแบ่งเป็น
• รถกระบะบรรทุก 14,873 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม-มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 48.17
• รถกระบะดับเบิลแค็บ 12,073 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม-มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 47.10
• รถกระบะ PPV 7,783 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม-มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 13.05
รถยนต์โดยสารขนาดต่ำกว่า 10 ตัน และมากกว่า 10 ตัน ขึ้นไป ในเดือนมีนาคม 2568 ไม่มีการผลิต รวมเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 ไม่มีการผลิต
รถบรรทุก เดือนมีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ 904 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 70.09 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 ผลิตได้ทั้งสิ้น 2,596 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 70.55
*รถจักรยานยนต์*
เดือนมีนาคม 2568 ผลิตรถจักรยานยนต์ได้ทั้งสิ้น 233,782 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 6.54 แยกเป็นรถจักรยานยนต์สำเร็จรูป (CBU) 185,931 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 3.41 และชิ้นส่วนประกอบรถจักรยานยนต์ (CKD) 47,851 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 20.75
ยอดการผลิตรถจักรยานยนต์เดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2568 มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 664,485 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 0.71 โดยแยกเป็นรถจักรยานยนต์สำเร็จรูป (CBU) 531,458 คัน ลดลงจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 0.36 และชิ้นส่วนประกอบรถจักรยานยนต์ (CKD) 133,027 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 5.26
*ยอดขาย*
ยอดขายรถยนต์ภายในประเทศของเดือนมีนาคม 2568 มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 55,798 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2568 ร้อยละ 13.15 และลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 0.54 จากรถกระบะที่ยังคงขายลดลงร้อยละ 7.84 เพราะการเข้มงวดในการอนุมัติสินเชื่อของสถาบันการเงินที่ยังกังวลหนี้ครัวเรือนสูงและเศรษฐกิจของประเทศเติบโตในอัตราต่ำ ค่าครองชีพสูง
รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ มีจำนวน 34,685 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 62.16 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 2.83
• รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์สันดาปภายใน (ICE) 13,770 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 24.68 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วที่ร้อยละ 15.13
• รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้า (BEV) 8,179 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 14.66 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วที่ร้อยละ 77.23
• รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้าผสมแบบเสียบปลั๊ก (PHEV) 705 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 1.26 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 250.75
• รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้าผสม (HEV) 12,031 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 21.56 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 5.18
รถกระบะมีจำนวน 14,941 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 7.84 รถกระบะไฟฟ้า (BEV) มีจำนวน 54 ในปีที่แล้วไม่มียอดจำหน่าย รถ PPV มีจำนวน 3,360 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 2.21 รถบรรทุก 5 – 10 ตัน มีจำนวน 1,472 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 6.95 และรถประเภทอื่นๆ มีจำนวน 1,286 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้ว 12.81
ส่วนรถจักรยานยนต์ มียอดขาย 151,331 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2567 ร้อยละ 2.55 และเพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 0.93
ตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - มีนาคม 2568 รถยนต์มียอดขาย 153,193 คัน ลดลงจากปี 2567 ในระยะเวลาเดียวกันร้อยละ 6.45 แยกเป็น
รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ มีจำนวน 96,073 คันเท่ากับร้อยละ 62.71 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 3.57
• รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์สันดาปภายใน (ICE) 37,555 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 24.51 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วที่ร้อยละ 14.44
• รถยนต์นั่งแหละรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้า (BEV) 22,737 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 14.84 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วที่ร้อยละ 18.85
• รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้าผสมแบบเสียบปลั๊ก (PHEV) 2,458 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 1.60 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 336.59
• รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้าผสม (HEV) 33,323 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 21.75 ของยอดขายรถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 7.54
รถกระบะมีจำนวน 40,379 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 13.37 รถกระบะไฟฟ้า (BEV) มีจำนวน 96 คัน ปีที่แล้วไม่มียอดจำหน่าย รถ PPV มีจำนวน 9,387 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 4.35 รถบรรทุก 5 – 10 ตัน มีจำนวน 3,589 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 21.93 และรถประเภทอื่นๆ มีจำนวน 3,669 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนช่วงกันในปีที่แล้ว 18.16
ส่วนรถจักรยานยนต์ มียอดขาย 455,244 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 1.71
*การส่งออก*
*รถยนต์สำเร็จรูป*
เดือนมีนาคม 2568 ส่งออกได้ 80,914 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนที่แล้วร้อยละ 0.50 และลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 14.91 เพราะมีการเปลี่ยนรุ่นรถยนต์นั่งบางรุ่น และจากการเข้มงวดในการลดการปล่อยคาร์บอนของบางประเทศและการเข้ามาของรถยนต์ไฟฟ้าราคาถูกของจีนในบางประเทศคู่ค้า จึงส่งออกลดลงในตลาดออสเตรเลีย ตะวันออกกลาง ยุโรป อเมริกากลางและอเมริกาใต้ อย่างไรก็ตามส่งออกชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์และอะไหล่เพิ่มขึ้นทั้งในสหรัฐอเมริกาและญี่ปุ่น
ประเภทรถยนต์ส่งออกเดือนมีนาคม 2568 แบ่งเป็น ดังนี้
• รถกระบะ 52,337 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 64.68 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 3.49
• รถยนต์นั่ง ICE 10,630 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 13.14 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 51.62
• รถยนต์นั่ง HEV 4,920 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 6.08 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 0.65
• รถ PPV 13,027 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 16.10 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 6.94
มูลค่าการส่งออกรถยนต์ 57,416.07 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 15.47
• เครื่องยนต์ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 3,139.22 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 30.72
• ชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์อื่นๆ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 15,828.01 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 8.90
• อะไหล่รถยนต์ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 2,305.76 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 9.69
รวมมูลค่าส่งออกรถยนต์เดือนมีนาคม 2568 เครื่องยนต์ ชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์ และอะไหล่ มีมูลค่า 78,689.06 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 9.52
เดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2568 ส่งออกรถยนต์สำเร็จรูป 220,139 คัน ลดลงจากช่วงระยะเวลาเดียวกันร้อยละ 18.63 แบ่งเป็น
• รถกระบะ ICE 141,971 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 64.49 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 8.49
• รถยนต์นั่ง ICE 32,517 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 14.77 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 47.13
• รถยนต์นั่ง HEV 12,339 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 5.16 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 27.06
• รถ PPV 33,312 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 15.13 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2567 ร้อยละ 9.85
มูลค่าการส่งออกรถยนต์ 156,187.74 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 17.43 โดยมีรายละเอียด ดังนี้
• เครื่องยนต์ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 8,795.21 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 28.15
• ชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์อื่นๆ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 41,564.39 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 10.17
• อะไหล่รถยนต์ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 6,747.11 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 6.75
รวมมูลค่าส่งออกรถยนต์เดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2568 เครื่องยนต์ ชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์ และอะไหล่ มีมูลค่า 213,294.45 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม – มีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 14.20
*รถจักรยานยนต์*
เดือนมีนาคม 2568 มีจำนวนส่งออก 91,951 คัน (รวม CBU + CKD) เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2568 ร้อยละ 19.03 และเพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 6.62 โดยมีมูลค่า 6,731.53 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 6.55 รถจักรยานยนต์ยังคงส่งออกเพิ่มขึ้นในตลาดสหรัฐอเมริการ้อยละ 32.2 มีสัดส่วนเพิ่มขึ้นเป็นร้อยละ 20.47 ของยอดส่งออกรถจักรยานยนต์ สหราชอาณาจักรเป็นอันดับสองมีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 13.29 เบลเยี่ยมเป็นอันดับสามมีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 11.89 ญี่ปุ่นร้อยละ 8.74
• ชิ้นส่วนรถจักรยานยนต์ มีมูลค่าการส่งออกทั้งสิ้น 178.94 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากเดือนมีนาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 9.94

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, Mr. Surapong Paisitpatanapong, Advisor to the Chairman of the Automotive Industry Group and Spokesperson of the Automotive Industry Group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), revealed the production, domestic sales, and export numbers for cars and motorcycles in March 2025 as follows:
*Production*
The total number of cars produced in March 2025 was 129,909 units, an increase of 12.49% from February 2025, but a decrease of 6.09% from March 2024, due to a 9.36% drop in exports and a significant 51.18% decrease in the production of passenger cars, as several models of passenger cars were changed. However, the production of passenger cars for domestic sales increased by 35.01% due to the rise in the production of electric vehicles, both BEV and PHEV, while the production of pickup trucks decreased by 29.32% as the sales of pickup trucks continued to decline.
The total number of cars produced from January to March 2025 was 352,499 units, which is a decrease of 14.88% compared to the same period in 2024.
In March 2025, 45,588 units of passenger cars were produced, a decrease of 12.50% from March 2024, categorized as follows:
• Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) passenger cars: 18,451 units, down 41.77% from March 2024
• Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV): 5,412 units, up 341.44% from March 2024
• Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV): 2,360 units, up 289.44% from March 2024
• Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV): 19,365 units, up 4.21% from March 2024.
Passenger car production from January to March 2025 totaled 119,865 units, accounting for 34% of total production, a decrease of 22.69% compared to January to March 2024, categorized as follows:
• ICE passenger cars: 53,267 units, down 43.29% from January to March 2024
• BEV: 9,319 units, up 252.06% from January to March 2024
• PHEV: 6,752 units, up 336.18% from January to March 2024
• HEV: 50,527 units, down 11.25% from January to March 2024.
Passenger buses under 10 tons and over 10 tons were not produced in March 2025, and no production occurred from January to March 2025.
In March 2025, a total of 84,321 trucks were produced, a decrease of 2.22% from March 2024, and from January to March 2025, a total of 232,634 trucks were produced, down 10.20% from January to March 2024.
In March 2025, a total of 83,417 units of 1-ton pickups were produced, reflecting an increase of 0.25% from March 2024, and from January to March 2025, a total of 230,038 units were produced, accounting for 65.26% of overall production, a decrease of 8.08% from January to March 2024, categorized as follows:
• Pickup trucks: 40,362 units down 12.70% from January to March 2024
• Double-cab pickups: 142,616 units down 11.43% from January to March 2024

Light trucks under 5 tons and over 10 tons produced 904 units in March 2025, a decrease of 70.09% from March 2024. A total of 2,596 units were produced from January to March 2025, which is a decrease of 70.55% from January to March 2024.

In March 2025, production for export hit 83,217 units, accounting for 64.06% of total production, a decrease of 9.36% from March 2024. For January to March 2025, 236,796 units were produced for export, equal to 67.18% of total production, a decrease of 13.48% compared to the same period in 2024.
Passenger cars produced for export in March 2025 totaled 14,022 units, representing a 51.18% decrease from March 2024, and from January to March 2025, 41,487 units were produced for export, accounting for 34.61% of total passenger car production, down 49.29% from January to March 2024.
1-ton pickups produced for export in March 2025 amounted to 69,195 units, an increase of 9.68% from March 2024, with a total of 195,309 units produced for export from January to March 2025, representing 84.90% of total pickup production, down 1.79% from January to March 2024, categorized as follows:
• Pickup trucks: 25,489 units increased by 45.33% from January to March 2024
• Double-cab pickups: 130,543 units decreased by 5.54% from January to March 2024
• PPV: 39,277 units increased by 8.71% from January to March 2024.

In March 2025, 31,566 units of passenger cars were produced for domestic sales, an increase of 35.01% from March 2024, but from January to March 2025, 78,378 units were produced, accounting for 65.39% of the total passenger car production, reflecting an increase of 7.01% compared to January to March 2024.
From January to March 2025, the 1-ton pickups produced for domestic sales totaled 14,222 units, a decrease of 29.32% from March 2024, with total production from January to March 2025 at 34,729 units, accounting for 15.10% of total pickup production, down 40.51% from January to March 2024, categorized as follows:
• Pickup trucks: 14,873 units decreased by 48.17% from January to March 2024
• Double-cab pickups: 12,073 units decreased by 47.10% from January to March 2024
• PPV: 7,783 units increased by 13.05% from January to March 2024.
Passenger buses under 10 tons and over 10 tons were not produced in March 2025; there was no production in January to March 2025.
In March 2025, 904 trucks were produced, a decrease of 70.09% from March 2024, with a total of 2,596 units produced from January to March 2025, down 70.55% from January to March 2024.

In March 2025, a total of 233,782 motorcycles were produced, reflecting a 6.54% increase from March 2024, separated into completely built units (CBU) of 185,931 units, marking a 3.41% increase from 2024, and component parts (CKD) of 47,851 units, a 20.75% increase from 2024.
The total motorcycle production from January to March 2025 was 664,485 units, an increase of 0.71% from 2024, with CBUs amounting to 531,458 units, a decrease of 0.36% from 2024, and CKDs reaching 133,027 units, marking a 5.26% increase from 2024.

Domestic sales of cars in March 2025 totaled 55,798 units, reflecting a 13.15% increase from February 2025 and a 0.54% decrease from March 2024 due to a 7.84% decline in sales of pickup trucks, resulting from stringent lending approvals by financial institutions, which remain concerned about high household debt and slow economic growth, along with high living costs.
Passenger cars and SUVs accounted for 34,685 units, representing 62.16% of total sales, an increase of 2.83% from the same month last year.
• ICE passenger cars and SUVs: 13,770 units, representing 24.68% of total sales, down from 15.13% the previous year.
• BEV passenger cars and SUVs: 8,179 units, representing 14.66% of total sales, an increase of 77.23% from the prior year.
• PHEV passenger cars and SUVs: 705 units, representing 1.26% of total sales, an increase of 250.75% compared to the same month last year.
• HEV passenger cars and SUVs: 12,031 units, representing 21.56% of total sales, a decrease of 5.18% from the same period last year.
Pickup trucks accounted for 14,941 units, a 7.84% decrease from the previous year, with BEV pickups totaling 54, a category which had zero sales last year. The PPV totaled 3,360 units, a decrease of 2.21% from the previous year, while trucks between 5 and 10 tons totaled 1,472 units, decreasing by 6.95% year-on-year. Other vehicle types amounted to 1,286 units, an increase of 12.81% from the prior year.
Motorcycle sales reached 151,331 units, reflecting a 2.55% increase from February 2025 and a 0.93% increase from March 2024.
From January to March 2025, car sales totaled 153,193 units, a decrease of 6.45% compared to the same period in 2024, categorized as follows:
