On Monday, April 28, 2025, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) convened the 3rd meeting of the Federation of Thai Industries Board (2025), presided over by Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Thawee Piyapantha, Senior Vice Chairman of FTI; Mr. Sompong Nakhonsri, Senior Vice Chairman of FTI; Dr. Piyanuj Malakul na Ayudhaya, Vice Chairman of FTI and Treasurer; Mr. Isares Ratandilok na Phuket, Vice Chairman of FTI and Registrar; and Mr. Krittapong Imsang, Secretary-General of FTI, along with FTI board members participating in the meeting at Ballroom 1, Thai CC Tower (9th Floor), Sathorn, Bangkok.

During the meeting, important and beneficial agendas for the industrial sector were presented as follows:

1. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn inaugurated the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production facility of the Bangchak Corporation Group.
2. Request for approval of appointed directors (additional) and elected directors (additional), and request for approval of appointed directors (replacement).  
3. Request for approval to change the name of the Institute of Information Technology and Communication for Industry. 
4. Discussion on the impact of U.S. trade policies and industry group opinions on U.S. import tax measures.
5. Urgent discussion on preventing product rights infringement in the U.S., in which FTI agreed and expressed willingness to cooperate with the Ministry of Commerce to prevent such infringements.
6. Progress on the draft Climate Change Act B.E. ....
7. Signing of a memorandum of cooperation for the “Smart Agriculture Industry (SAI) Prototype Innovation Project for Learning and Nurturing Smart Agriculture Approaches” between the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Mahidol University Salaya. 
8. Summary of participation in The 4th General Meeting of Kankeiren ABC Platform and visits to Osaka Expo 2025, where FTI presented the following issues:
 - The 4GO policy and collaboration with the ABC platform working group to exchange know-how and technology transfers.
 - Thailand has accepted to host the meeting in 2026.
9. Notification of the inspection results of the FTI office building following the earthquake, where the Deputy Rector and professors from the Faculty of Engineering at Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep (RMUTK) provided inspection information to create assurance and morale for FTI staff.
10. Promotion of the Pride Month festival project “Paint the City With 'My PRiDE'” in June 2025, in which the Creative Industries and Soft Power Development Institute (CISPI) will also participate in organizing this event.

Additionally, during the meeting, congratulations were extended to three FTI executives as follows:

1. Ms. Pimnara Jiranitthisanont, Vice Chairman of FTI, was appointed as a “Qualified Member of the Industrial Product Standards Committee.” 
2. Mr. Thanakorn Ketsurasuwan, FTI Board Member, assumed the role of “Chairman of the Thai Shippers' Council for the term 2025-2026.”
3. Dr. Ongart Kittikuncha, FTI Board Member, assumed the role of “President of the Processed Food Manufacturers Association for the term 2025-2027.”
