เมื่อวันที่ 20 มีนาคม 2568 การนิคมอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (กนอ.) จัดสัมมนาเผยแพร่ผลการดำเนินงานโครงการส่งเสริมการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรเพื่อเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนที่ยั่งยืน (Circular Economy) พร้อมมอบรางวัล I-EA-T Circular Economy ประจำปี 2567 ให้แก่สถานประกอบการต้นแบบที่นำหลักการเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนไปใช้ในองค์กรได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ เพื่อส่งเสริมความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน โดยได้รับเกียรติจากนายสุเมธ ตั้งประเสริฐ กรรมการ การนิคมอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (กนอ.) รักษาการในตำแหน่งผู้ว่าการ เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดและมอบใบประกาศเกียรติคุณ พร้อมนายโชคชัย มนตรีอมรเชฐ และนายสรศักดิ์ กีรติโชคชัยกุล กรรมการ สถาบันน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อความยั่งยืน สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ให้เกียรติเข้าร่วมงาน ณ โรงแรมอัศวิน แกรนด์ คอนเวนชั่น
นายสุเมธ เปิดเผยว่า การนิคมอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (กนอ.) มีความมุ่งมั่นที่จะพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้เติบโตควบคู่กับความยั่งยืน และหนึ่งในแนวทางสำคัญที่เรากำลังผลักดัน คือ “การทำให้เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนทรัพยากรระหว่างผู้ประกอบการในนิคมอุตสาหกรรม และระหว่างนิคมอุตสาหกรรม แบบ Closed Loop” ซึ่งแนวทางนี้ จะช่วยให้ผู้ประกอบการสามารถนำทรัพยากรที่เหลือใช้กลับมาใช้ใหม่ ลดของเสีย และเพิ่มมูลค่าให้กับกระบวนการผลิต เพื่อให้การปฏิบัติตามหลักเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนเกิดขึ้นอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
สำหรับรางวัล I-EA-T Circular Economy Award นี้ ไม่เพียงเป็นเครื่องหมายแห่งความสำเร็จของสถานประกอบการ ที่มุ่งมั่นดำเนินธุรกิจตามหลักเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) เท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของโอกาสในการพัฒนาและก้าวไปสู่การประกวดในระดับประเทศต่อไป รวมทั้งเป็นการผลักดันให้สถานประกอบการอื่นๆ เห็นถึงความสำเร็จที่เป็นไปได้ และมีแนวทางปฏิบัติที่สามารถนำไปใช้จริง
การสัมมนาครั้งนี้ เป็นเวทีสำคัญสำหรับการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ ประสบการณ์ และแนวปฏิบัติที่เป็นเลิศจากองค์กรต้นแบบ เพื่อให้ทุกภาคส่วนสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ได้จริง นอกจากการถอดบทเรียนด้าน Circular Economy ที่สำเร็จ
"ผมหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าผู้เข้าร่วมจะได้รับประโยชน์จากการอภิปรายและการเสวนา โอกาสนี้ ผมขอแสดงความยินดีกับสถานประกอบการที่ได้รับรางวัล I-EA-T Circular Economy ประจำปี 2567 รวมถึงทุกบริษัทที่เข้าร่วมการประกวด ขอชื่นชมในความมุ่งมั่นตั้งใจของทุกท่าน ซึ่งเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีในการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมที่ใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อม อันเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน” นายสุเมธ กล่าว
โครงการส่งเสริมการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรเพื่อเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนที่ยั่งยืน (Circular Economy) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมการประยุกต์ใช้หลักการเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนภายในองค์กร ให้ทุกภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้อง ลดปริมาณการฝังกลบ และเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการใช้ประโยชน์จากวัสดุที่ไม่ใช้แล้ว โดยมีการจัดการประกวดสถานประกอบการที่มีการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรเพื่อให้เกิดเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) ซึ่งมีสถานประกอบการให้ความสนใจเข้าร่วมประกวดทั้งสิ้น 27 ราย แบ่งเป็นประเภท ดังนี้
1. Circular Economy Product สำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ออกแบบและผลิตตามแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน และใช้งานได้จริงในตลาด และ
2. Circular Economy Prototype สำหรับต้นแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ที่อยู่ในขั้นตอนการวิจัยและพัฒนา
ทั้งนี้ ภายในงาน มีการเสวนาหัวข้อ “Circular Economy and Sustainability : ถอดรหัสความสำเร็จองค์กรต้นแบบ สู่การขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนอย่างยั่งยืน” โดยมีตัวแทนจากองค์กรที่ได้รับรางวัลมาร่วมแบ่งปันแนวคิดและประสบการณ์ อาทิ
• บริษัท ยูเอซีเจ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศ Circular Economy Product จากผลงาน Aluminium Coil รุ่น Alloy 3104 – อะลูมิเนียมรีไซเคิลคุณภาพสูง นำกลับมาใช้ใหม่ได้ 100% โดยไม่สูญเสียคุณสมบัติ
• บริษัท เอ็นเอส-สยามยูไนเต็ดสตีล จำกัด ได้รับรางวัลรองชนะเลิศอันดับ 1 Circular Economy Product จากผลงาน Acid Recovery Process (ARP) – เทคโนโลยีรีไซเคิลกรดไฮโดรคลอริก (HCI) ในอุตสาหกรรมเหล็ก
• บริษัท ควอลิตี้คอนสตรัคชั่นโปรดัคส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้รับรางวัลรองชนะเลิศอันดับ 2 Circular Economy Product จากผลงาน Q Decorative Concrete Garden Block - แท่งคอนกรีตรีไซเคิลจากเศษวัสดุก่อสร้าง
• บริษัท ซันโทรี่ เป๊ปซี่โค เบเวอเรจ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ได้รับรางวัลชมเชย Circular Economy Product จากผลงานเครื่องดื่มบรรจุขวด PET - จากวัสดุพลาสติกรีไซเคิล 100%
• บริษัท ไทยนิปปอนรับเบอร์อินดัสตรี้ จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้รับรางวัลชมเชย Circular Economy Prototype จากผลงานแผ่นยางจิ๊กซอว์ปูพื้นกันกระแทกจากเศษยางพาราเหลือใช้จากกระบวนการผลิตถุงยางอนามัย
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการบรรยายพิเศษให้ความรู้แก่ผู้ประกอบการในหัวข้อ “ความรับผิดชอบของผู้ประกอบการตามกฎหมายกากอุตสาหกรรม” โดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากกรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม และหัวข้อ "มาตรฐาน ISO ในเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน" โดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากสำนักงานมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม เพื่อส่งเสริมแนวทางการดำเนินธุรกิจที่สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานสากล
On March 20, 2025, the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) organized a seminar to disseminate the results of the sustainable circular economy resource management project, along with the presentation of the I-EA-T Circular Economy Award for 2024 to exemplary businesses that effectively implement circular economy principles within their organizations. This initiative aims to enhance understanding of the circular economy. The seminar was honored by the presence of Mr. Sumet Tangprasert, a board member of IEAT, who serves as the acting governor and delivered the opening remarks and awarded the certificates of recognition, alongside Mr. Chokchai Monthreamornchet and Mr. Sorakrit Keerathochakulkaj, board members of the Water and Environmental Institute for Sustainability, Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), who also graced the occasion at the Asawin Grand Convention Hotel.
Mr. Sumet revealed that the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) is committed to developing Thai industries to grow sustainably. One of the key approaches we are promoting is to create resource exchanges among operators in industrial estates and between industrial estates through a 'Closed Loop' model. This approach will allow operators to recycle surplus resources, reduce waste, and enhance the value of the production process, thus achieving tangible implementation of circular economy principles.
The I-EA-T Circular Economy Award not only symbolizes the success of businesses committed to operating under the circular economy principles but also serves as a starting point for further opportunities to develop and compete at the national level. It also motivates other businesses to recognize achievable successes and adopt practical methodologies.
This seminar provided an important platform for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and best practices from exemplary organizations, enabling all sectors to apply the lessons learned about successful circular economy implementation.
“I sincerely hope that participants will benefit from the discussions and dialogues. I would like to congratulate the businesses receiving the I-EA-T Circular Economy Award for 2024, as well as all companies participating in the competition. I commend the dedication and intentions of everyone involved, which serve as a great example for developing an environmentally conscious industry, a crucial heart of sustainable development goals,” said Mr. Sumet.
The sustainable circular economy resource management project aims to promote the application of circular economy principles within organizations, allowing all relevant sectors to reduce landfill waste and enhance the efficient use of discarded materials. A competition has been organized for businesses managing resources to achieve circular economy goals, with a total of 27 enterprises interested in participating, categorized as follows:
1. Circular Economy Product for products designed and produced based on circular economy principles, which are applicable in the market; and
2. Circular Economy Prototype for product prototypes in the research and development stage.
Additionally, the event featured a panel discussion titled “Circular Economy and Sustainability: Decoding the Success of Exemplary Organizations towards Sustainable Circular Economy Promotion,” where representatives from award-winning organizations shared their ideas and experiences, including:
• UACJ (Thailand) Co., Ltd. received the first prize in Circular Economy Product for their Aluminum Coil Model Alloy 3104 – High-quality recycled aluminum that can be reused 100% without losing its properties.
• NS-Siam United Steel Co., Ltd. received first-runner-up in Circular Economy Product for their Acid Recovery Process (ARP) – a technology for recycling hydrochloric acid (HCI) in the steel industry.
• Quality Construction Products Public Company Limited received second-runner-up in Circular Economy Product for their Q Decorative Concrete Garden Block – recycled concrete blocks made from construction waste.
• Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Limited received an honorary mention in Circular Economy Product for their PET bottled beverage – made from 100% recycled plastic.
• Thai Nippon Rubber Industry Public Company Limited received an honorary mention in Circular Economy Prototype for their jigsaw rubber flooring tiles made from discarded rubber from condom production.
Moreover, there were special lectures providing knowledge to entrepreneurs on “The Responsibilities of Operators Under the Industrial Waste Management Law” by experts from the Department of Industrial Works, and the topic “ISO Standards in Circular Economy” by experts from the Industrial Product Standards Office to promote business practices in line with international standards.
