วันพุธที่ 19 มีนาคม 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) มอบหมายให้นายสงวน แสงวงศ์กิจ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคตะวันออก เป็นประธานเปิดงาน Automation Expo 2025 & Food Tech Expo 2025 ณ ศูนย์ประชุมนานาชาตินงนุช พัทยา จังหวัดชลบุรี
ภายในงาน มีผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิร่วมงาน ได้แก่ นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา ดร.จุฬา สุขมานพ เลขาธิการคณะกรรมการนโยบายเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (EEC) นางสาวกนกพร ดำรงกุล ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายการตลาดไมซ์ในประเทศ สำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) และนายธีระ กิตติธีรพรชัย กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท จีเอ็มทีเอ็กซ์ จํากัด
นายสงวน กล่าวว่า ปัจจุบันเศรษฐกิจโลกต้องเผชิญกับความไม่แน่นอนหลายประการ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์ภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ (Geopolitics) ระหว่างประเทศ ความผันผวนของห่วงโซ่อุปทานโลก ต้นทุนทางธุรกิจที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมถึงภาวะเงินเฟ้อที่กระทบต่อทุกธุรกิจ แต่ในขณะเดียวกันเทคโนโลยีใหม่ๆ ก็กำลังเข้ามาเปลี่ยนแปลงวิถีการดำเนินธุรกิจแบบดั้งเดิม เช่น Automation, Robotics, AI และดิจิทัลแพลตฟอร์มต่างๆ กำลังพลิกโฉมอุตสาหกรรมทั่วโลก หากภาคอุตสาหกรรมที่ปรับตัวไม่ทันอาจต้องสูญเสียความสามารถในการแข่งขันจากคู่แข่งที่สามารถปรับตัวได้ทัน
สำหรับประเทศไทย อุตสาหกรรมดั้งเดิมกำลังเผชิญกับความท้าทายเหล่านี้โดยตรง โดยเฉพาะผู้ประกอบการ SMEs ที่กำลังเผชิญกับต้นทุนการผลิตที่เพิ่มขึ้น การขาดแคลนแรงงานที่มีทักษะ อีกทั้งต้องแข่งขันกับสินค้านำเข้าจากต่างประเทศที่มีต้นทุนต่ำและใช้เทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัยกว่า ส่งผลให้หลายโรงงานต้องปิดตัวลง หรือผันตัวเป็นผู้นำเข้าแทน ดังนั้นการขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมไทยเข้าสู่อุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคตจึงเป็นเรื่องสำคัญที่มีความเร่งด่วนเป็นอย่างยิ่ง
ดังนั้น สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย จึงได้มีการดำเนินนโยบาย "ONE FTI" คือ One Vision, One Team, One Goal เพื่อขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมไทย โดยเน้นยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมเดิม หรือที่เรียกว่า First Industries โดยมี 47 กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรม 11 คลัสเตอร์ 76 สภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัด เพื่อไปสู่อุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต หรือที่เรียกว่า Next-GEN Industries ซึ่งเป็น New S-Curve และได้ยกระดับ SMEs ไทย สู่ความเข้มแข็ง ด้วยนโยบาย "4GO" (Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global, Go Green)
ส.อ.ท. ในฐานะผู้นำภาคเอกชน เล็งเห็นว่างาน Automation Expo 2025 & Food Tech Expo 2025 สอดคล้องกับนโยบาย ส.อ.ท. ที่ต้องการส่งเสริมการนำระบบ Automation & Robotics รวมถึง AI เข้ามาใช้ในองค์กร เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการผลิต ลดต้นทุน รวมถึงลดกระบวนการที่ซ้ำซ้อน ซึ่งจะเป็นเครื่องมือสำคัญในการนำนโยบาย 4GO ไปสู่ภาคปฏิบัติ รวมทั้งผลักดันเทคโนโลยี PCB ซึ่งถือเป็นชิ้นส่วนสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรม S-Curve & New S-Curve ที่เกี่ยวกับอิเล็กทรอนิกส์อัจฉริยะ ซึ่งประเทศไทยกำลังให้ความสำคัญอย่างมาก

On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), assigned Mr. Sanguan Sawangwongkit, Chairman of the Eastern Region Industrial Council, to preside over the opening ceremony of Automation Expo 2025 & Food Tech Expo 2025 at the Nong Nooch International Convention and Exhibition Center in Chonburi Province.
The event featured distinguished guests, including Mr. Pramese Ngamphichat, Mayor of Pattaya, Dr. Chula Sukmanop, Secretary-General of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Policy Committee, Ms. Kanokporn Damrongkul, Director of MICE Marketing Department at the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization), and Mr. Thira Kittitheerapornchai, Managing Director of GMTX Co., Ltd.
Mr. Sanguan stated that the current global economy faces several uncertainties due to geopolitical impacts between countries, fluctuations in global supply chains, continuously rising business costs, and inflation affecting all businesses. However, new technologies are transforming traditional business practices through Automation, Robotics, AI, and various digital platforms, revolutionizing industries worldwide. If the industrial sector is unable to adapt promptly, it may lose competitiveness to rivals who can adjust swiftly.
In Thailand, traditional industries are directly facing these challenges, particularly SMEs that are encountering rising production costs, a shortage of skilled labor, and having to compete with imported goods from abroad that are more cost-effective and employ modern technologies. This has led many factories to shut down or shift to become importers instead. Therefore, driving Thai industry towards the industry of the future is of utmost urgent importance.
As a result, the Federation of Thai Industries has implemented the "ONE FTI" policy, which means One Vision, One Team, One Goal, to drive Thai industry forward by enhancing traditional industries, referred to as First Industries, across 47 industrial groups, 11 clusters, and 76 provincial industrial councils towards the industry of the future, known as Next-GEN Industries, which represent the New S-Curve. Additionally, it has strengthened Thai SMEs with the "4GO" policy (Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global, Go Green).
As a leader in the private sector, FTI sees that Automation Expo 2025 & Food Tech Expo 2025 aligns with FTI's policy to promote the adoption of Automation & Robotics as well as AI within organizations to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate redundant processes. This will be a crucial tool in implementing the 4GO policy in practice, as well as driving PCB technology, which is considered a vital component in driving S-Curve and New S-Curve industries related to smart electronics, which Thailand is putting significant emphasis on.
