เมื่อวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2568 นายอรุณ เอี่ยมสุรีย์ ประธานสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และที่ปรึกษาสถาบันฯ นายอนุวัตร เฉลิมไชย รองประธานสถาบันฯ นำคณะกรรมการสถาบันฯ ได้แก่ นายสุพจน์ ชัยวิไล นางสาวยศรา ลิมป์ไพฑูรย์ นายถาวร กนกวลีวงศ์ นางบัญชุสา พุทธพรมงคล ประธานคลัสเตอร์วัสดุก่อสร้าง และนายชุตินันท์ สิริวสุวัตร ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายการตลาด บริษัท เอสซีจี ดิสทริบิวชั่น จำกัด เข้าพบนายณรงค์ศักดิ์ พุทธพรมงคล ประธานหอการค้าไทย-จีน และคณะผู้บริหาร เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือระหว่างกัน ณ ชั้น 9 อาคารหอการค้าไทย-จีน (Thai CC)
สถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน ได้แนะนำบทบาทของสถาบัน โดยมีเป้าหมายหลักในการสนับสนุนให้เกิดการลงทุนในประเทศไทย ผ่านการใช้ห่วงโซ่อุปทาน (Supply Chain) ภายในประเทศ รวมทั้งให้เกิดการเชื่อมโยงเครือข่ายระหว่างภาครัฐและเอกชนไทย-จีน ซึ่งยังคงมุ่งเน้นการเป็นศูนย์ข้อมูลที่สำคัญให้กับสมาชิก เพื่อส่งเสริมการทำธุรกิจและการจับคู่ธุรกิจ (Business Matching) และการสร้างเครือข่ายระหว่างสมาชิกและนักลงทุนจากจีน โดยเฉพาะการช่วยเหลือ SMEs ไทยให้สามารถขยายธุรกิจไปสู่ตลาดสากลได้
การหารือในครั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องในการร่วมมือเพื่อสนับสนุนและสร้างโอกาสให้กับผู้ประกอบการไทยและจีน ในการพัฒนาธุรกิจและขยายการลงทุนในอนาคต ซึ่งถือเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของความร่วมมือระหว่างหอการค้าไทย-จีน และสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน ในการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนในระยะยาว
On March 13, 2025, Mr. Arun Iamsuri, Chairman of the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), together with Ms. Pecharat Aeksangkun, FTI Vice Chairman, and institute advisor Mr. Anuwat Chaleumchai, Vice Chairman of the Institute, led a delegation of the institute's committee, which included Mr. Supachai Chaiwilai, Ms. Yosara Limpaitoon, Mr. Thaworn Kanokwalewong, Ms. Banchusa Phutthapromongkol, President of the Construction Materials Cluster, and Mr. Chutinant Siriwusuwat, Director of Marketing at SCG Distribution Co., Ltd., to meet with Mr. Narongsak Phutthapromongkol, Chairman of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and the executive team to discuss opportunities for collaboration at the 9th floor of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce building.
The Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute presented its roles, with the primary objective of promoting investment in Thailand through the utilization of the domestic supply chain, as well as fostering connections between Thai and Chinese public and private sectors. The institute continues to focus on being a crucial information hub for its members to promote business operations and facilitate business matching, as well as create networks among members and investors from China, particularly in supporting Thai SMEs to expand their businesses into international markets.
During the discussion, both parties agreed on collaboration to support and create opportunities for Thai and Chinese entrepreneurs to develop their businesses and expand investments in the future. This is regarded as the beginning of cooperation between the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute in strengthening economic and investment relations in the long term.
