เมื่อวันที่ 15 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 นายเอกนัฏ พร้อมพันธุ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม กล่าวปาฐกถาพิเศษในหัวข้อ แนวทางการปฏิรูปภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยสู่อนาคต ในงาน FTI EXPO 2025 จัดขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด “EMPOWERING THAI INDUSTRY, ELEVATING THAILAND’S FUTURE เสริมพลังอุตสาหกรรมไทย เพื่ออนาคตไทยที่ยั่งยืน” โดยมีนางดวงดาว ขาวเจริญ รองอธิบดีกรมส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรม นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย คณะผู้บริหารกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม และคณะผู้บริหาร ส.อ.ท. ให้การต้อนรับ ณ Hall 5-8 ชั้น LG ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์
รัฐมนตรีฯ เอกนัฏ กล่าวว่า ประเทศไทยเป็นประเทศที่มีความพร้อมและมีศักยภาพในการเป็นศูนย์กลางเศรษฐกิจที่สำคัญในภูมิภาคเอเชีย มีพื้นที่เศรษฐกิจ EEC พื้นที่การนิคมอุตสาหกรรม ที่เป็นแรงผลักดันสำคัญในการดึงดูดการลงทุนจากต่างประเทศ และที่สำคัญ มีสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย ที่ช่วยผลักดันภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยเพื่อก้าวสู่เศรษฐกิจยุคใหม่ที่ทันสมัย และเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศในระยะยาว
ปัญหาท้าทายของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยในปัจจุบัน เช่น ปัญหาการเผาอ้อย การจับสินค้าเถื่อนไม่ได้มาตรฐาน กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมได้มีการใช้มาตรการอย่างเต็มที่ เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหา แต่วันนี้ภารกิจที่กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมเผชิญต้องได้รับความร่วมมือจากทางสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทยในการปฏิรูปอุตสาหกรรม ส่งเสริมการใช้เทคโนโลยี Ai มาแก้ไขปัญหา และส่งเสริมสนับสนุนภาคเอกชนให้สามารถประกอบกิจการได้อย่างสะดวกและมีความรับผิดชอบ
ในอนาคต กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมจะนำเทคโนโลยี Ai มาใช้ในกระบวนการออกใบอนุญาต ให้มีความโปร่งใส มีความสะดวกมากขึ้น ซึ่งที่ผ่านมารัฐบาลได้ปลดล็อก“โซลาร์รูฟท็อป” โดยผู้ประกอบการหรือประชาชนไม่ต้องขอใบอนุญาต รง.4 เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกและส่งเสริมการใช้พลังงานสะอาดในทุกภาคส่วน
ปัจจุบันกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมผลักดัน พรบ.กากอุตสาหกรรม ซึ่งจะเป็นกฎหมายสำคัญในการจัดการและแก้ไขปัญหากากอุตสาหกรรมในประเทศไทย ที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและชุมชน
“กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมและทุกภาคส่วนยินดีสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการไทยอย่างเต็มที่เพื่อให้ทุกธุรกิจเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมพร้อมที่จะปรับแก้ไขใช้เทคโนโลยีสร้างความสะดวกและโปร่งใส เตรียมความพร้อมให้ SMEs ไทยขยายตลาดสู่ต่างประเทศ ปฎิรูปอุตสาหกรรมไทยด้วยเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมให้เข้มแข็งและยั่งยืน“ รัฐมนตรีฯ เอกนัฏ กล่าวปิดท้าย
On February 15, 2025, Mr. Eknat Prompan, Minister of Industry, delivered a keynote address on the topic of reforming the Thai industrial sector for the future at FTI EXPO 2025, held under the theme "EMPOWERING THAI INDUSTRY, ELEVATING THAILAND’S FUTURE." The event was attended by Mrs. Duangdao Khawjaroen, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Industrial Promotion; Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI); along with senior officials from the Ministry of Industry and FTI. The event took place at Hall 5-8, LG Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
Minister Eknat stated that Thailand is well-positioned and has the potential to be a major economic hub in the Asian region, with the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) playing a critical role in attracting foreign investment. Importantly, the FTI plays a vital role in advancing the Thai industrial sector towards a modern economy, enhancing the country’s long-term competitiveness.
The current challenges facing the Thai industrial sector include issues such as cane burning and the handling of substandard illegal products. The Ministry of Industry has fully implemented measures to address these issues; however, today’s mission requires cooperation from the Federation of Thai Industries in reforming the industry, promoting the use of AI technology to solve problems, and supporting the private sector to operate effectively and responsibly.
In the future, the Ministry of Industry will utilize AI technology in the licensing process to enhance transparency and convenience. Recently, the government has unlocked the "solar rooftop" initiative, allowing operators or citizens to proceed without a license, in order to facilitate and promote the use of clean energy across all sectors.
Currently, the Ministry of Industry is advocating for the Industrial Waste Management Act, which will be an essential law for managing and addressing industrial waste issues in Thailand, which impact the environment and communities.
“The Ministry of Industry and all sectors are fully committed to supporting Thai entrepreneurs to ensure that all businesses can grow sustainably. The Ministry is ready to adjust and employ technology to create convenience and transparency, and to prepare Thai SMEs to expand their markets abroad. We will reform Thai industry with robust and sustainable technology and innovation,” Minister Eknat concluded.
