Prime Minister “Phaethongtharn Shinawatra" presided over the opening ceremony of FTI EXPO 2025: “EMPOWERING THAI INDUSTRY, ELEVATING THAILAND’S FUTURE,” organized by the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) in collaboration with leading partner organizations. The event took place from February 12-15 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, utilizing the 4GO strategy that encompasses digitalization, innovation, international market expansion, and sustainable organizational development. The event saw substantial participation from executives of the Federation of Thai Industries, the government, the private sector, as well as international agencies and educational institutions.

On February 13, 2025, Ms. Phaethongtharn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, officiated the opening of FTI EXPO 2025, the largest exhibition of Thailand's industries under the concept “EMPOWERING THAI INDUSTRY, ELEVATING THAILAND’S FUTURE,” showcasing innovations and technologies within Thailand's industrial sector. This significant event demonstrates the potential and advancement of Thailand's industries, which play a crucial role in driving the country's economy, organized by the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI). Furthermore, the Prime Minister delivered a special address on the topic “Inspiring Thai Industries to Create a New Economy for Sustainable Growth,” emphasizing the need for all sectors to collaborate in driving the Thai economy and industries toward reforming the structural framework from traditional industries to future-oriented industries, aligning with the nation's goals to enhance competitiveness while ensuring sustainable economic, social, and environmental development.

“This event reflects the strong collaboration between leading partner organizations, showcasing the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors to propel Thailand forward, aiming for international recognition, economic stability, improved living standards for all citizens, and income generation for the country.

This collaboration will facilitate interconnected operations across the system, from upstream to downstream, encompassing production, processing, and the integration of innovations to enhance products and goods, market management, and responsiveness to environmental trends. The government acknowledges the significance of participation from all sectors in addressing challenges and upgrading development in all dimensions to elevate the country’s competitiveness on the global stage.

Thailand aims to become the vehicle of the future, moving forward with full capacity. The government's single goal aligns with every citizen's aspiration, which is to see the nation progress, with citizens living well and being able to compete with other countries. I firmly believe that Thailand can achieve this if we all join hands and move forward together. This collaboration between the government and the Federation of Thai Industries will guide the Thai industrial sector toward solid and sustainable development.

Mr. Kiangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), stated that amidst the economic challenges faced globally, it is crucial to highlight the transformations in the modern world, characterized by volatility and complexity. The industrial sector must consistently develop and adapt to these changes, driven by technological advancements, geopolitical conflicts, trade wars, and climate change impacts, which are increasingly unpredictable and severe each year. These challenges require Thailand to unite in transforming obstacles into opportunities for national development, accelerating the restructuring of industries toward a new economic era, and enhancing production capacity through technology and innovation while emphasizing value addition to Thai products and services. Simultaneously, fostering educational development is necessary to build a workforce that supports future industries and establishing strategies to position Thailand as an industry manufacturing hub in this region.

To enhance the competitiveness of Thai entrepreneurs and instill confidence in both Thai and foreign investors and the industrial sector, and to showcase the potential and advancements of Thailand's industries to the world, FTI EXPO 2025 is being organized. This event unites the collaborative efforts of 47 industrial groups, 76 provincial industrial councils, institutions under the supervision of FTI, government entities, the private sector, international organizations, and educational institutions, under the ONE FTI policy (ONE Vision, ONE Team, ONE Goal) aiming to lay the foundation and drive the development of Thai industries. Moreover, it aims to elevate SMEs toward Smart SMEs through the 4GO approach comprising GO Digital & AI, GO Innovation, GO Global, and GO Green, covering digitalization, innovation, international market expansion, and sustainable organizational development.

FTI EXPO 2025 will serve as a platform to expand marketing channels for Thai products, services, and innovations, recognized as Made in Thailand (MiT), promoting trade and investment to connect to international markets, leading to circulating capital within the economy and fostering stable and sustainable economic growth.

“FTI EXPO 2025 under the theme “EMPOWERING THAI INDUSTRY, ELEVATING THAILAND’S FUTURE” will be a significant opportunity for Thai entrepreneurs to expand their market channels domestically and internationally, connect business networks worldwide, explore new perspectives on innovative and advanced technologies, and exchange valuable knowledge through discussions with national and global experts in various fields. Additionally, the FTI OUTLET will provide participants the opportunity to purchase high-quality products from members of the Federation of Thai Industries across the country at special prices. All of this will be available at the event, which will take place over an exhibition area exceeding 20,000 square meters.”

“One of the highlights of this event not to be missed is the demonstration of the Passenger Drone model Sliver Hawk, which is the first passenger drone developed by a Thai entrepreneur and has received MiT (Made in Thailand) certification. This passenger drone represents a future transport technology that will propel Thailand's industrial sector forward, and attendees will witness this demonstration daily from February 12-15, 2025, at 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the Srisawadi Square, Gate 2, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and Benjakitti Park,” Mr. Kiangkrai concluded.

FTI EXPO 2025 will be held from February 12-15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Hall 5-8, LG floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The Federation of Thai Industries anticipates that this year will attract no less than 70,000 participants and generate business opportunities amounting to at least 1 billion baht.
