On January 20, 2025, Mr. Vikrom Vajrakul, Executive Board Member of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in a discussion at the JSCCIB-JCCI Economic Dialogue seminar organized by the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking (JSCCIB) in collaboration with the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI). The event was officially opened by Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of JSCCIB, and Mr. Ken Kobayashi, Chairman of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), along with Ms. Sutthasinee Smith, Investment Advisor from the Board of Investment (BOI), and Dr. Patcharapong Nantharamas, Assistant Managing Director and Chief Economist of Krung Thai Bank, who provided special lectures on investment policies in Thailand and economic data to a group of Japanese and Thai business professionals at the Grand Ballroom of The Okura Prestige hotel.

Moreover, during the discussion, there was an exchange of views on investment opportunities, cooperation in economic sectors including energy and industry, and tourism collaboration among representatives from the private sectors of both Thailand and Japan.
