วันจันทร์ที่ 13 มกราคม 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ร่วมเป็นประธานในพิธีสถาปนา และจัดตั้งกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมลำดับที่ 47 ภายใต้การดูแลของ ส.อ.ท. ได้แก่ กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอากาศยาน การเดินอากาศอัจฉริยะและอวกาศ พร้อมมอบดอกไม้แสดงความยินดีกับนายอนุกูล แต้มประเสริฐ ประธานกลุ่มฯ โดยมีนายอิศเรศ รัตนดิลก ณ ภูเก็ต รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. เป็นผู้ดำเนินการประชุมจัดตั้งกลุ่มฯ และเลือกตั้งคณะกรรมการกลุ่มฯ วาระปี 2567-2569 พร้อมกรรมการและสมาชิกกลุ่มฯ เข้าร่วม ณ ห้องประชุม 802 ส.อ.ท.
ด้วยเศรษฐกิจไทยในปัจจุบันได้รับการขับเคลื่อนด้วยภาคอุตสาหกรรมเป็นหลัก ดังนั้น การพัฒนานวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยี เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพ ยกระดับมาตรฐานการผลิตสินค้าให้พร้อมแข่งขันในตลาดสากล จึงเป็นความหวังในการผลักดันภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้สามารถก้าวไปสู่อุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต (New S-Curve) ตามยุทธศาสตร์ที่รัฐบาลกำหนดได้เร็วขึ้น โดยหนึ่งในนั้น คือ ‘อุตสาหกรรมอากาศยานไทย’ ที่ประเทศไทยมีความพร้อม เพราะมีห่วงโซ่ผลิตชิ้นส่วนเครื่องบินในประเทศให้เติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง มีศักยภาพที่จะพัฒนาให้ภาคอุตสาหกรรมนี้เข้มแข็ง สามารถต่อยอดสู่เป้าหมายในการเป็นศูนย์กลาง (Hub) ด้านการผลิตชิ้นส่วนอากาศยานของโลก
ภายใต้นโยบาย ONE FTI ส.อ.ท. ได้มีการขับเคลื่อนและผลักดันให้ภาคอุตสาหกรรมที่เป็นอุตสาหกรรมเดิม (First Industries) เกิดการพัฒนาและส่งเสริมการเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขัน สู่อุตสาหกรรมใหม่ หรืออุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต (Next Gen-Industries)
ดังนั้น ส.อ.ท. เล็งเห็นถึงโอกาสและศักยภาพของอุตสาหกรรมการบินและอากาศยานของประเทศไทย จึงได้ดำเนินการจัดตั้งกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอากาศยาน การเดินอากาศอัจฉริยะและอวกาศ เป็นกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมลำดับที่ 47 เพื่อยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมการบินและอากาศยานของประเทศ ให้สามารถขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจ และสร้างความเชื่อมโยงร่วมกับหน่วยงานต่างๆ เพื่อให้อุตสาหกรรมอากาศยานและการบินของไทย มุ่งสู่การเป็นศูนย์กลางทางการบิน (Aviation Hub) ของภูมิภาค
On Monday, January 13, 2025, Mr. Kriangkrai Tiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), presided over the establishment ceremony and the formation of the 47th industrial group under the supervision of FTI, which comprises the Aviation, Smart Air Transportation, and Space Industry Group. He presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Anukool Tamprasert, the Chairman of the group, with Mr. Isares Rathnadilok Na Phuket, Vice Chairman of FTI, serving as the facilitator for the group's establishment meeting and the election of the group's committee for the term 2024-2026, with committee members and group members in attendance at meeting room 802, FTI.
Currently, the Thai economy is primarily driven by the industrial sector. Therefore, the development of innovation and technology to enhance efficiency and elevate product manufacturing standards for competition in the international market is crucial for pushing the Thai industrial sector towards the industry of the future (New S-Curve), in accordance with the strategies set by the government. One of the key areas is the 'Thai Aviation Industry,' for which Thailand is well-prepared. The country has a continuous domestic supply chain for aircraft parts and possesses the potential to strengthen this industrial sector, allowing it to achieve its goal of becoming a global hub for aircraft component manufacturing.
Under the ONE FTI policy, FTI has been promoting and driving the development and enhancement of competitiveness in traditional industries (First Industries) towards new or future industries (Next Gen-Industries).
Therefore, FTI recognizes the opportunities and potential of Thailand's aviation and aerospace industry and has established the Aviation, Smart Air Transportation, and Space Industry Group as the 47th industrial group to elevate the country's aviation and aerospace industries, enabling them to drive the economy and create connections with various agencies to ensure that the Thai aviation industry aims to become the aviation hub of the region.
