เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 20 มิถุนายน 2567 นางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยคณะกรรมการสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน และผู้แทนกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรม ให้การต้อนรับ Mr. Liu Chi-Chuan รองผู้อำนวยการทั่วไป การนิคมอุตสาหกรรมกระทรวงเศรษฐกิจสาธารณรัฐจีน (ไต้หวัน) หรือ MOEA และคณะนักธุรกิจ เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือ ณ ห้อง PFP Healthy (1011) ชั้น 10 ส.อ.ท.
ในที่ประชุม ผู้ประกอบการได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลสินค้า และร่วมหารือโอกาสทางการค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างประเทศไทยกับไต้หวัน ในด้านอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆ เช่น อุตสาหกรรมชิ้นส่วนและอะไหล่ยานยนต์ อุตสาหกรรมเครื่องจักรกลและโลหะการ อุตสาหกรรมพลาสติก อุตสาหกรรมไฟฟ้าและอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และอุตสาหกรรมพลังงานทดแทน
ปัจจุบัน นักลงทุนไต้หวันได้เข้ามาลงทุนในไทยแล้วในหลายพื้นที่อุตสาหกรรม อาทิเช่น การลงทุนในพื้นที่อีอีซี ที่มีมูลค่าลงทุนกว่า 840 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ ในกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมายสำคัญ เช่น อุปกรณ์เครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้า ยานยนต์ ปิโตรเคมี และกลุ่มแผงวงจร หรือ PCB ประเภทต่างๆ เป็นต้น
On Thursday, June 20, 2024, Ms. Petcharat Aeksaengkul, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with members of the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute and representatives from various industry groups, welcomed Mr. Liu Chi-Chuan, Deputy Director-General of the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan), or MOEA, and a group of business professionals to discuss collaboration at the PFP Healthy room (1011), 10th floor of FTI.
During the meeting, participants exchanged product information and discussed trade and investment opportunities between Thailand and Taiwan across various industries, such as the automotive parts and components industry, machinery and metalworking industry, plastics industry, electrical and electronics industry, and renewable energy industry.
Currently, Taiwanese investors have already invested in several industrial areas in Thailand, including investments in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), valued at over 840 million US dollars in key targeted industry groups, such as electrical appliances, automotive, petrochemicals, and various types of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
