เมื่อวันที่ 30 พฤษภาคม 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท) ได้ให้การต้อนรับนายวีระ วาณิชยพิทักษ์ นายกสมาคมวิเทศพาณิชย์ไทย-จีน พร้อมด้วยนายกิตติพงษ์ เตรัตนชัย นายกกิตติมศักดิ์เกียรติคุณถาวร สมาคมวิเทศพาณิชย์ไทย – จีน และคณะผู้บริหารสมาคมฯ เข้าร่วมแสดงความยินดีกับนายเกรียงไกร เนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งประธาน ส.อ.ท. วาระที่ 2 ณ ห้องประชุม PASSION ROOM (802) ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท.
ทั้งนี้ ในที่ประชุมได้ร่วมหารือถึงความสัมพันธ์ไทย-จีนในช่วงที่ผ่านมาและหารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมการจัดกิจกรรมการสร้างเครือข่ายธุรกิจระหว่างสมาชิก ส.อ.ท และสมาคมฯ โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มผู้ประกอบการรุ่นใหม่ นอกจากนี้ ยังได้กล่าวถึงการจัดตั้งสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีนของ ส.อ.ท. ซึ่งจะเป็นตัวกลางในการช่วยส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการแลกเปลี่ยนกิจกรรมระหว่าง 2 ประเทศในอนาคตที่จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อนักธุรกิจชาวไทยและจีน
สมาคมวิเทศพาณิชย์ไทย-จีน ก่อตั้งมากว่า 150 ปี มีบทบาทในการส่งเสริม ผลักดันธุรกิจผู้ประกอบการชาวจีน โพ้นทะเลในประเทศไทย รวมถึงการเชื่อมสัมพันธไมตรีกับวงการการค้าและอุตสาหกรรมทั่วโลก โดยเฉพาะความสัมพันธ์ทางการค้าที่แน่นแฟ้นกับประเทศจีน ไต้หวัน ฮ่องกง ยุโรป สหรัฐอเมริกา และประเทศในเอเชียอาคเนย์ เป็นต้น
On May 30, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), welcomed Mr. Weera Waanichyapitak, President of the Thai-Chinese Commerce Association, along with Mr. Kittipong Teratanachai, Honorary President of the Thai-Chinese Commerce Association, and the association's executive committee members to congratulate Mr. Kriangkrai on his reappointment as FTI Chairman for the second term at the PASSION ROOM (802), 8th floor, FTI.
During the meeting, they discussed the Thailand-China relations in recent times and explored ways to promote business networking activities between FTI members and the association, particularly focusing on the new generation of entrepreneurs. Furthermore, they mentioned the establishment of the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute by FTI, which will serve as a medium to promote and support exchanges of activities between the two countries in the future, benefiting Thai and Chinese businesspeople.
The Thai-Chinese Commerce Association was founded over 150 years ago and has played a significant role in promoting and advocating the business of Chinese entrepreneurs overseas in Thailand, as well as fostering relationships with global trade and industry, especially the strong trade ties with China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Europe, the United States, and Southeast Asian countries, among others.
