วันที่ 30 พฤษภาคม 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยรองประธาน ส.อ.ท. นายธนารักษ์ พงษ์เภตรา นางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล นายนาวา จันทนสุรคน นางสาวพิมพ์นารา จิรานิธิศนนท์ และกรรมการบริหาร ส.อ.ท. ดร.วิบูลย์ รักสาสน์เจริญผล ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ นาย ธานี แสงรัตน์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโซล เนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ พร้อมหารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการค้า การลงทุนระหว่างไทย-เกาหลีใต้ ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ส.อ.ท.
นอกจากนี้ ยังได้มีการหารือเรื่องสาขาความร่วมมือที่เกาหลีใต้มีศักยภาพ อาทิ อุตสาหกรรมสีเขียว สตาร์ทอัพ (Startup) เมืองอัจฉริยะ (Smart City) และเทคโนโลยีด้านสุขภาพ (Health Technology) เป็นต้น

On May 30, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), together with FTI Vice Chairs Mr. Thanarak Pongphetra, Ms. Petcharat Eksangkul, Mr. Nava Chantanasurakhan, Ms. Pimnara Jiranititannont, and FTI Board Member Dr. Wibul Raksasancharoenphol, welcomed Mr. Thani Saengrat, the Ambassador to Seoul, on the occasion of his new position, and discussed ways to promote and support trade and investment between Thailand and South Korea at the Mongkolsuthee Room of FTI.
Additionally, discussions included potential areas of cooperation where South Korea has advantages, such as green industries, startups, smart cities, and health technology.
