เมื่อวันทื่ 18 มีนาคม 2567 นางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย ดร.วิบูลย์ รักสาสน์เจริญผล รองเลขาธิการ และนายปิงซุน หวัง กรรมการและสมาชิกกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรม ส.อ.ท. ให้การต้อนรับนายจาง หมิงปิง (Mr. Chang Ming-Pin) Director General of the Department of Investment Promotion, Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan นายนิค นี (Mr. Nick Ni) ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายเศรษฐกิจ สำนักงานเศรษฐกิจและวัฒนธรรมไทเป ประจำประเทศไทย (TECO) และคณะนักธุรกิจไต้หวันจำนวน 40 ท่าน เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือและโอกาสขยายการลงทุนอุตสาหกรรมไต้หวันในประเทศไทย ณ ห้อง Passion (802) ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท.
ที่ประชุมได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้าการลงทุนระหว่างกัน นอกจากนี้ นักธุรกิจไต้หวันได้แสดงความสนใจที่จะขยายการลงทุนในประเทศไทย โดยเฉพาะอุตสาหกรรมไฟฟ้าและอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ อุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า อุตสาหกรรมเกษตรอัจฉริยะ ระบบอัตโนมัติ เป็นต้น
จากสถิติของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) นักลงทุนไต้หวันเข้ามาลงทุนในไทยในปี 2566 เป็นอันดับที่ 5 โดยมีมูลค่าคำขอรับการส่งเสริมกว่า 1.5 พันล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ แผ่นวงจรพิมพ์ โน้ตบุ๊ก และอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์อัจฉริยะ ซึ่งเป็นการขยายการลงทุนเดิมและลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมใหม่ที่มีศักยภาพ
On March 18, 2024, Ms. Pechrat Aeksangkul, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), together with Dr. Wiboon Raksasancharoenphol, Deputy Secretary-General, and Mr. Ping-Sun Wang, Director and member of FTI's industrial group, welcomed Mr. Chang Ming-Pin (Mr. Chang Ming-Pin), Director General of the Department of Investment Promotion, Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan, Mr. Nick Ni (Mr. Nick Ni), Director of Economic Affairs at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand (TECO), and a delegation of 40 Taiwanese businesspeople to discuss collaboration and opportunities for expanding Taiwanese industrial investment in Thailand at the Passion Room (802), 8th floor of FTI.
The meeting involved the exchange of information regarding economics, trade, and investment between the two parties. Additionally, Taiwanese businesspeople expressed interest in expanding investments in Thailand, particularly in the electric and electronics industries, electric vehicle industry, smart agriculture, and automation systems, among others.
According to statistics from the Board of Investment (BOI), Taiwanese investors ranked 5th in terms of investment in Thailand in 2023, with a promotion request value exceeding 1.5 billion USD, particularly in the electronics industry, printed circuit boards, laptops, and smart electronic devices. This reflects an expansion of existing investments and new investments in promising industries.
