เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 25 มกราคม 2567 นายอรินทร์ จิรา รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยกรรมการบริหารและผู้แทนจากกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรม ให้การต้อนรับนายริกกี้ ชาน (Mr. Ricky Chan) รองประธานกรรมการบริหาร สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งฮ่องกง (FHKI) และคณะ ณ ห้องประชุม 802 ส.อ.ท.
ในที่ประชุมได้มีการหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลภาพรวมอุตสาหกรรมของประเทศไทยและฮ่องกงในรายอุตสาหกรรม อาทิเช่น อุตสาหกรรมอาหาร อุตสาหกรรมดิจิทัล และอุตสาหกรรมชิ้นส่วนยานยนต์ รวมถึงนโยบายส่งเสริมการลงทุนของนักลงทุนต่างชาติของทั้ง 2 ประเทศ
ปัจจุบัน ฮ่องกง นอกจากจะเป็นศูนย์กลางทางการเงินที่สำคัญ แห่งหนึ่งของโลกและเป็นประตูเชื่อมระหว่างตลาดสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีนกับตลาดโลกแล้ว ฮ่องกง ยังมีการสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมผู้ประกอบการในด้านนวัตกรรม เทคโนโลยีที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม และเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการในประเทศอีกด้วย
สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งฮ่องกง (FHKI) เป็นหน่วยงานที่ก่อตั้งขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี 2503 (ค.ศ. 1960) เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของสตาร์ทอัพ SMEs และบริษัทข้ามชาติ และมีหน้าที่ในการช่วยเหลือผู้ประกอบการ ในประเทศ เพื่อแสวงหาช่องทางการลงทุนในต่างประเทศ และยกระดับความสามารถของอุตสาหกรรมให้สามารถแข่งขันได้ในระดับโลก
On Thursday, January 25, 2024, Mr. Arin Jira, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with the executive committee and representatives from industry groups, welcomed Mr. Ricky Chan, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and his team at Meeting Room 802, FTI.
During the meeting, discussions were held to exchange information on the overall industrial landscape of Thailand and Hong Kong by industry, including sectors such as food, digital, and automotive parts, as well as investment promotion policies for foreign investors from both countries.
Currently, Hong Kong not only serves as a major financial center of the world and a gateway connecting the People's Republic of China market with the global market, but it also supports and promotes entrepreneurs in areas of innovation, environmentally friendly technologies, and biotechnology for local entrepreneurs.
The Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) was established in 1960 to meet the needs of startups, SMEs, and multinational corporations. Its role is to assist local entrepreneurs in seeking investment opportunities abroad and to enhance the competitiveness of industries on a global scale.
